Dave is also well known as one of the nicest guys out there. He's a great storyteller and he swears (curses!) better than any other American I've ever come across. As a Scot, I appreciate that! Fantastic live band too, they always put on an amazing show. He's going to go down as one of the greats I think.

You nailed everything! His new book "Storyteller" just came out! Each chapter he tells a cool story of his life. The first & last chapters tie in. Yes, definitely the nicest guy! Everyone loves him & says exactly the same thing. You also nailed it with the cursing! Finally, I found someone worse than me. 🤣 Live shows are legendary! 3.5 hours at least with 25-27 songs. Dave does it all. From interviewing famous people, acting, writing books, producing priceless documentaries on music (Sound City) - and I've barely scratched the surface.

Perfect timing! FOO FIGHTERS are being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame by Sir Paul McCartney tomorrow Oct 30, 2021! Dave's 2nd time - first as drummer of Nirvana, of course! Dave taught himself to play drums and guitar by ear by listening to Beatles records. Paul & Dave are great friends & play together often so it was a perfect choice. Stewart Copeland (drummer of The Police - one of the best EVER) was their other thought to induct them. Dave shared that's kinda where FF began. He got the idea of making a tape where he played every instrument & sang but turned it in under a fake name to the record company, as Stewart once famously did. He didn't want to get signed just because he was Dave Grohl, formerly of Nirvana. Record company called him immediately & the songs on that tape became the first FF record. Yep, Dave's just THAT good. Taylor Hawkins (FF drummer) & Dave's drumming was heavily influenced by Stewart - as most drummers. This is gonna be one hell of a ceremony with my favorite band! ❤🎵✌😍

The Foo Fighters are a fantastic band and I've watched them often on KZbin. They were formed in Seattle, in 1994 by Dave Grohl who, as you know, was the former Nirvana drummer. I love this song, The Pretender and there are so many other great songs such as Learn to Fly, Wheels, Everlong, Walk, Times Like These and Monkey Wrench. I've mentioned before that Taylor Hawkins, the drummer, is an ardent Queen fan and they always do a Queen song in their shows, normally Under Pressure. They often get someone from the audience on stage to play with them, usually guitar or drums and it's so entertaining. Dave Grohl is such a lovely guy. Colour and shape is second album. Self titled was the debut and was pretty much Dave playing all the instruments. When he needed to tour to support the debut, that's when he had to form the band.

Pretty much anything in the arts he can do : drumming, guitar, singing, songwriting, producing, directing, acting, writing (his new book is #1 right now in US best seller list). He’s also a sharp businessman, a doting husband snd father, a master storyteller, a natural comedian, and universally acknowledged as one of the nicest guys in “the biz” He also has immense courage, or to speak in Dave’s lingo, he’s got large cajones. Grohl is a force of nature….and a really kind and sweet guy. Snd yeah, I have no doubt he will go down as one of the greats of his generation

I’m telling you guys, you will love JUDAS PREIST: Riding On The Wind! It’s a badass Hard Rock song at the peak of their power. It’s off of the Screaming For Vengeance album. Studio version only please. I know this stuff. Just do it and nobody will complain at all. I guarantee this one. If you guys like something interesting it's time for you to get into the Japanese rock and metal scene. I strongly suggest Band Maid, Love Bites, Hemophilia, Aldious, Gacharic Spin, Mary's Blood for all female bands and there are others. Then you get into mixed groups. Start with Baby Metal. Band Maid is my favorite. I hope you take this suggestion.
