I'm a little biased because they are my second favorite band of all time, but I agree. I think they are the best by a long shot. I also respect the hell out of Dave Grohl because he always takes a leadership role as an ambassador of sorts to rock and roll and making sure the legends get there due. If it wasn't for him the Grammys would have completely ignored the death of Lemmy. But Dave made sure he got a tribute on the show.

@kf8346
@kf8346 3 жыл бұрын
i have read all your comments and i think i can try to make sense of it. "foo" is not subject to gradiation. its like saying "how much water did you drink?" . . . the answer could be "two gallons" or the answer could be "a lot of water". foo is not subject to gradiation. you could describe how much foo you are fighting. but you cannot describe how many foos. so it is the difference between the word "much" and the word "many". foo is not a specific number of foos to be faought. it is just this nonquantifiable thing that you are fighting. i think i get it now.

@Chris liv . . . why would you call me an idiot when i am just trying to be funny, are you a humorless person? do you live in the realm of existence without laughter? or is it that youtube comments will inevitably be plagued by unfunny people like you? im sorry to be so defensive but you did call me an idiot. just calm down dude. we are all here to get along. how many other people have you hated on like this for no reason. or i could ask, how much of a hater are you? do you still see how i am making a point about the word "many" vs the word "much". i was joking before but now i'm mad you called me an idiot so that just ruined everything.
@kf8346
@kf8346 3 жыл бұрын
@Chris liv i think we both just got caught by the internet and i guess also the pandemic. . . . people can't understand each other through a computer. we are quick to hate. we are quick to defend ourselves. . . and we cannot possible begin to understand one another through this medium. i appreciate you. hopefully humans can get past these silly fights some day. just think about if you are hanging out with a friend, and you call him or her an idiot, it has all the joking tone and context of already being friends behind it. but when you call a stranger an idiot on the internet, then it does hurt that person. so i'm not mad at you either. im just showing you how dangerous this digital world is that we live in. . . . cuz nobody understands one another. how could they?

I don’t get the chills But this song gives me the chills and goosebumps, the acoustic with the keyboard sets up the in your face hard rocking side to come, what a perfect mix and version. As a nation divided with good vs. evil this is something we need more of, positive uplifting music ...... thank you FF

So you guys are my daughter's favorite band, because I brought her up listening to you. In high school, she was having a really hard time. One teacher really touched her heart and got her excited about life, and school again. You guys are also his favorite band. Thank you for being a path for healing.💜💜💜

I know that this might sound odd, but Dave Grohl is one of the most “real” celebrities I’ve ever seen. He doesn’t really put on any sort of exaggerated personality or anything, he’s just a nice, genuine, and humble dude that also happens to be a world renowned rock and roll star. He’s just so down to earth and the best way I can describe him is that he’s the type of celebrity that you could go get lunch with and just talk to for a while.

It’s not odd at all, it’s exactly who he is. Dave Grohl is the “Everyman” rock star, he’s just genuine which is why everyone adores him.

You nailed it. Dave grew up in my area and a few of my childhood friends were in several bands with him. He went to a nearby high school and I think they all met at a "battle of the bands" event at Washington & Lee High School in 1983. He's still friends with these guys and is as down to earth a star as you will ever want to meet.

I met Nirvana in Belltown Seattle at the Vogue a few months before they hit it big. I sat with Kurt in a dark corner of this dive bar after their performance. We talked of our love of music. They were amazing of course but what I remember most is how tiny Dave was! He grew up to be a Man! While I sat with Kurt who may have been the saddest musician I ever met the band was in the parking lot having a blast. I hope Kurt found some happiness he was so talented. And Dave? What a force of nature! Love this performance it was perfect for this occasion! Gives me chills every time I listen.

@@Chali_9 You realise that the economy creates money for all of us, not just the government? If we ceased all economic activity completely then we wouldn’t have an economy to come back to. And poverty always leads to poor health and more deaths. Blaming the government is low hanging fruit. It’s a really tough situation and we’re fumbling through the dark; every government had to gamble on what course they thought would work best for their country
