Lyrics:
A million miles away
Your signal in the distance
To whom it may concern
I think I lost my way
Getting good at starting over
Every time that I return
I'm learning to walk again
I believe I've waited long enough
Where do I begin?
I'm learning to talk again
Can't you see I've waited long enough?
Where do I begin?

When I went through my divorce after 17 years, I made a "starting over" playlist. This song was track #1. I've probably listened to it 1000 times and it always helped me keep my head up. I took the time to work on me, become a better person and start over a better person. Alas, just 4 years later, I'm getting married again in 5 days. Thanks FF. Best band ever!

@@JackLeeTheFirst Yeah I know I'm 100% positive he married someone else but I'm saying why would he get married again if his last marriage ended in divorce? His new wife is also probably going to end up divorcing him. If the divorce rate in America is 50% and nearly 80% of all divorces are filed by the female then why would he go through it again? He must like losing half of his possessions and paying alimony.

Learning to talk again Can't you see I've waited long enough? Where do I begin? Do you remember the days? Now, For the very first time Don't you pay no mind Set me free, again To keep alive, a moment at a time That's still inside, a whisper to a riot The sacrifice, the knowing to survive The first decline, another state of mind I'm on my knees, I'm praying for a sign Forever, whenever, I never wanna die I never wanna die I never wanna die I'm on my knees, I never wanna die I'm dancing on my grave I'm running through the fire Forever, whenever I never wanna die I never wanna leave I'll never say goodbye Forever, whenever Forever, whenever Learning to walk again I believe I've waited long enough Where do I begin? This song is already so nostalgic to me. The semester/summer that this came out was one of the best of my life, and this album was the soundtrack to it. And then, seeing the Foo Fighters and Rise Against, my two favorite bands ever, live in Buffalo... This song represents perfect times for me. I love it so much. I hope this song brings you as much joy and nostalgia as it does me.

I’ve tried to end my life 3 times. I found this song after the third time, an I just sobbed. I was sob/screaming over and over, “ I never wanna die. I never wanna die I’m on my knees I never wanna die. I never wanna leave. I’ll never say goodbye.” But, not out of devastation. I’ve had to start from rock bottom so many times and it’s absolutely exhausting l. But this song gave me hope; hope and courage to get up and try again like the song was written for me. If you’ve ever hit rock-bottom too, you know how hard how exhausting it is to try to get back up. How absolutely you feel how hopeless you might feel but this song gives me hope again and I hope it gives you the courage and strength you need to look up and start again too.

This morning, I was driving to work and this song came on in my shuffle. It reminded me of a close friend who had been fighting cancer for the past few years, and was also a huge Foo Fighters fan. Several hours later, this evening I received the phone call that he finally passed away. I think this song represented how he felt, he was so young and he should have had a long life ahead of him. He fought so hard to keep going, he never wanted to die. This song will always remind me of my friend.

I can sit and doing anything, playing pc... reading a book. Then a put on the Foo Fighter song-playlist, and I just stops everything. Just looking at the video of the song. Listening. I get supriced everytime... I get a lump in my chest. I get stirred everytime. Surely my favorit song... I can't hear it enough.
