It's very sad. I remember first seeing him in the videos for Alanis Morrisette in the mid 90's and thinking, that drummer is special. He's got something about him. Then he joined Foo Fighters and really broke through. I was surprised to learn he struggled with heroin in the early 2000s, and was so happy when he pulled out of it. RIP Taylor.

This to me has got to be one of THE best songs of the 2000's. All memes aside, this song breaks the ABABCB formula, the vocals are straight from the heart, the music is compelling and full of energy, and the lyrics are brilliant. I was brutally sexually abused as a child this song “did someone get the best of you” is how I felt for the majority of my life but it is also what propelled me to follow my dreams. I became a world-class professional boxer and a decorated police officer. I help train boys and young men in boxing who quite often come from abusive homes and mentor them not just in boxing but in life. I have had multiple children saved from homes where they were being sexually abused because I could see and recognize the signs. Through Christ I have found redemption and the strength to stop being self-destructive!! “ All things happen for the good of those that love God” he will take a horrible thing and bring good out of it!!!!

If you feel lost, alone , upset or frustrated i highly recommend reading the comments , It enlightened me that there still is hope and great people out there who are far away and clueless of one another but are still willing to show love and compassion for those who have lost someone ,Those who are on the edge of leaving this beautiful planet and those who are encountering heartbreak !
