So I just heard this song on Sirius XM, then I did Wikipedia to find out more about White, and now here I am watching his performance with the Foo Fighters. All within 10 minutes. I just love this song.

I love how the Foo Fighters always seem to pay homage to the past. I believe that they are true musicians and due to their immense success have the freedom to do whatever they want musically. I wonder how many of the younger generation have benefited from seeing FF point back to to what has come before. I have been watching the Foo Fighters HBO rock-doc mini series "Sonic Highways" and it is absolutely brilliant. I would encourage fans of just good ol' American music to check it out. Man I love Foo Fighters.
