I suffered and still am for my eating habits. Ended up with Anemia because bacteria (H pylori) was eating my insides due to sugar and the wrong foods. I was malnourished. After everything I tried it was the Sunnah that is curing me. Honey , black seed, olives, eating less but real food. The Quran and Hadith warned me but I didn’t think it would happen to me. The bacteria thrives in me due to eating the wrong food.

It’s been long time you posted. For pylori the natural remedy is mastica capsules. Antibiotics can’t help. They proved that black seeds does help. Ramadhan kareem

Thank you for uploading this! Very beneficial information that everyone needs to be aware of. It's always nice to hear Shakyh Hamza Yusuf's thoughts on food and nutrition -- not many scholars talk about this and there aren't enough videos about this topic. Alhamdulillah I actually just started growing food :) I couldn't believe how easy tomatoes were to grow! I'm growing several different type of veggies as well as some fruits. Homegrown tastes sooo much better and it's also more nutritious! And it's not as hard as you think... try it!

MashAllah. Those two brothers are amazing. May Allah protect them and reward them. Dr Ali is so soft spoken which is charming but he's hard to understand. It could be his mic tough. Anyways, I could listen to them for hours.

Thank you for posting this shaykh sidi Abdullah, it was wonderful to gain more insight about the shaykh's daily dietary practices and rationale for them. May Allah reward he and you both. What was the final decision about the stunned chicken? I know Imam Zaid prefers not to eat it, and it is not something professed on the halal package 'stun' or 'no stun' - so is it a company by company basis?

Interesting debate. Good to see the brother, Dr Abdullah, chilling and reflecting. Eating small meals, however, is recommended for people with problems with regurgitation or Helicobacter pylori. It regulates the stomach acid. One reason it is hard for people to fast if they suffer from this illness.

An interesting offering, though what Hamza Yusuf said about farmed fish is quite inaccurate, as farmed fish are fed items which have harmful effects on people (cancer is said to be caused by this) if consumed regularly. Interesting though nevertheless, but please do not blindly follow either of these two in all that they say.

The absolutely shocking fact inside Abrahamic traditions is the almost complete absence of consideration of animal suffering! They do not reflect one second about the hell that animals go through - they are often killed when fully conscious, boiled alive, violated, cut their legs in order that they cannot run away, hung up and their throat slit! This appalling fact made me become a Hindu Vaishnava - they know what is DHARMA and AHIMSA, because their SHASTRAS are Apaurusheya, coming directly from the Source, where the others cut themselves off the source - and hence swim in ignorance - ahankara!!!
