Thanks for the video. Looking at your calculation 2,170... already has 50% profit margin in it.. so what margin is ideal ? With 2,500 it's about 80% profit margin,with 3,500 it's over 100% seeing that your cost price came to 1,475. That's before adding the 50%. Is there an ideal industry standard?
@chinenyeodunowo5650 Жыл бұрын
You as the seller , would determine your percentage profit ... sometimes it’s safe to have at least 80 to 100 percent profit .. because things happen ... for example scarcity of money , increase in food stuff price etc ... I sell a plate of food for 3500, even after the scarcity of money , I ddnt increase price ... it ddnt affect me much , because I have already factored all the risks in my price

Good video, very informative. I subscribed and liked to help make the video reach more audience. Many are just doing business blindly. That said, I can see that after applying profit (50%) you still added Gain (90%) Food business is definitely my next bus-stop. The ROI na MADD!

My question After the calculation and arriving at 2,132 What is the actual profit and what is the actual selling price without profit? Cos after dividing i can say a plate of jollof rice go for 2,132 or 3000 as you said So how do i mapp out my profit there again Do i multiply 3000 by 0.5 again to get the actual profit. It confused me a bit there An explanation will help. Thank you sis

What’s a profit margin also?
@chinenyeodunowo5650 Жыл бұрын
You have to add more money Incase of unforeseen circumstances.. food stuff price might increase , fuel increase , rent increase etc
@chinenyeodunowo5650 Жыл бұрын
@@user-iw7jt6yc6n your profit margin. Is how much profit you want ...for example you bought an item for 300 naira , if you sell it 500 ..your profit margin is 200 ..that's 20 percent.
