Im aussie, from Adelaide Australia. So fun seeing our aussie foods. Did she explain vegemite. Please do it lightly. Hot toast, butter straight away then a light spread of vegemite! So yummy. And the fairy bread too, with the 100s & 1000s. Yum! All that food is our childhood kids parties.

Opal fruits are starbursts, it was the original names. The reason the uk starbursts taste different is because they only use natural colours and flavours.

Hey guys I'm from the UK too. Opal fruits are a nostalgic name for starburst. The company brought them out but they are just starburst. The UK have next to no e numbers and artificial flavours xx

Cadbury chocolate is AWESOME! My favorite is Twirl and my sons is Flake Bars. I grew up eating it as my Dad was from Ireland and my Mom is from England. We always ask family members who come to visit to bring tons of it! We are lucky enough to have some British/Irish import stores around here so we can treat ourselves every few months!

As someone from the UK I'd say you were dealt a weird hand there! Definitely need to be adding a Double Decker, Magic Stars, Werther's Originals and some Matlesers in there. I feel a part 2 may be necessary

That was a nice selection of treats to try. Some of those items are sold at our World Market store. I love getting pickles from the World Market store and then I check out other special treats to try. Belgian chocolates are wonderful.

Biscotti cookies. Biscotti is an Italian cookie, sounds like Pavarotti. You've probably had them, they are popular here in US too. Twice baked cookie, hard but tastes good. I laughed out loud when everybody shut up for a few trying to chew that candy! So funny! Now I want to go to the UK to eat their candy! 😂

Yeah it’s 10 years for cars and 5 years for bus or lorry. It’s on the gov.uk website!

In England you don't have to renew your licence until your 70 years old unless you have a medical issue then its every 3 years and Lorry drivers/Bus Drivers its every 5 years. I've had my licence for 36 years and it still has many years to run, in fact until I reach 70 and then we do it by post.

In Ireland we renew driving licences every 10 years; 70 year olds plus renew every 3 years. For a long time I had a medical licence and had to renew every 3 years. I loved it when Justin called the fruit pastels 'pastilles'. Do you have to pay custom charges on parcels received in the mail?

In CA you have to renew the license every 5 years, but because we have so many people, you can do renew by mail forever as long as your driving record is clean. That means your picture can stay the same for decades.

Seeing as you all loved the Iced Vo Vo here’s a little history of Arnott’s you might find interesting! My last name is Arnott and I’m related to this iconic Australian company. We’ll ignore the fact we sold it to an American lol. But the iced Vo Vo was first made in 1906 and hasn’t changed since that date! We also used to supply this biscuit as rations to the American soldiers during the First World War!

I think Japan has the best McDonald’s menu! I live in the uk and have been to a McDonald’s in Australia and although I loved the frozen Fanta and coke in Australia the melon Fanta in Japan was amazing! Plus they have way more burger options with some strange sauces and even have shrimp and pork burgers

Opal Fruits in England are now called Starburst. The manufactures have released limited edition bags of the original sweets and using the original flavours under its original name of Opal Fruits. England definitely has the most boring McDs menu, I get very jealous when I see people in the states getting such a variety of food at McDs

In the state of Arizona once you get your driver's license you do not have to renew it until your 65th birthday. You have to go in every 5 years and have a new photo taken for your driver's license.

When you finally get to that trip Down Under, spread out the jet lag with two stops - any of Hawaii, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, Cooks. Michelle was in Fiji on a mission from what I saw on TIHWB. I lived there for 2 years as a kid. You won't regret that experience. Not to mention that could be an amazing Treasure Hunt. I hope someday that all becomes possible for you and the kids.

From living there I know some doozies... 🐱 When I was a kid the planes couldn't make it all in one shot so I got the idea for stop overs from how we did it - New York to San Francisco to Hawaii to Fiji. From there either Australia or New Zealand was the normal stop - you had to do it in three legs back then.
