That noodle is called Kwong Fu Yee Mee. It's one of my favourite Chinese noodles variety. You can go try the famous Bird's Nest restaurant in Ipoh. It's a rather good cafe cum restaurant place.😊

Oh nice! We'll have to order it saying that next time and impress the vendor! Thank you ☺️ We've left Ipoh now unfortunately, but I'm sure we'll be back in the future. The food was too good 😅

JWW Birch was quite a hated figure in Perak during colonial times. He was assassinated while taking a bath in the river.
@DisappearforDays9 ай бұрын
Oh really! That's interesting. In honesty, we (clearly) didn't know much about JWW Birch, but assumed he had a positive influence as he had the monument made for him! The more you know! 😊

We are yet to visit Taiping, but have heard nice things about it! Ipoh would be such a nice place to retire though, a lot of good food to keep you going 😂

Hi, Glad you enjoyed Ipoh. 😃👍 You guys didn’t try Ipoh famous Nasi Ganja (marijuana/weed rice) and Chicken Rice with fresh Taugeh dish ?
@DisappearforDays9 ай бұрын
Is that rice really a thing?? 😳 What's Taugeh? Sound interesting, we might have to give it a go!
@saifulrizan80679 ай бұрын
Yes but it’s not actually have marijuana/weed in the rice. It is a Nasi Kandar dish. It is as they said, it is so good, it’s addictive as ganja/marijuana/weed. Have a taste. You decide. 😅 Taugeh is Beansprout. Enjoys. 😋👍🤠
@DisappearforDays9 ай бұрын
Oh wow, I thought marijuana was illegal in Msia so didn't think that would ever be a thing! If you're claiming it's that good, we may have to try it when we next go back to Ipoh!

Is that Cantonese Fried Beehoon aka Kungfu Fried Beehoon...
@DisappearforDays9 ай бұрын
Thank you, there seem to be so many different names for it 😂
@Burlin889 ай бұрын
I think this is a variant of the Cantonese style aka wat tan style except that it’s with crispy Yee mee and not beehoon or hor fun.

Hello,i notice that your video this one are jerky something wrong with the frame per second. Thats a shame...😔 😊

Thank you for the feedback! I've noticed it as well and it is the most frustrating thing for a perfectionist like me! 😅 As you mentioned, I believe it's to do with the frame rates so I'll see if I can get it back to silky smooth again over the coming videos 😊
