MARRAKECH, MOROCCO has some of the BEST FOOD in the World. Tagine and CousCous are the stars, but they are only scratching the surface of the incredible food/cuisine that you'll find in Marrakech. Food in Northern Africa is super underrated, and you'll find some of the Best in Morocco.
No matter if you go with high-ends restaurants on rooftop terraces, or spend your time eating from the street food stalls, there are incredible options at every corner within the Medina. There is also one amazing restaurant in the NewTown area that is a non-profit and doing amazing things for the women in the community.

A snack in Morocco refers to fast food. In the beginning they used to serve grilled or fried meat and french fries with some salad and beverage...but nowadays there's a lot of variations, including some traditional Moroccan food...

The Tacos you ate is actually a French Tacos (Also known as Tacos Lyonnais in France which means from the city of Lyon in France), it's generally made of a combination of meat of your choice + sauces of your choice + fries + cheese sauce (a creamy sauce mainly made by melting different types of cheeses in milk). Glad you enjoyed your stay in Marrakech! Next time you should give the north a try, I bet you will like it a lot.

Wow all that food looked great! What was in that taco burrito? And what did you spend on food? Is it cheap?

It was actually really great. The taco burrito didn't really have much, it was just chicken and cheese honestly for the most part! But what made it great was the seasoning on the chicken, it was amazing. And the sauce. Food is really really cheap. The places listed here (especially Nomad and DarDar) are probably on the high end in Marrakech, and you're still only spending $20-$30 per meal. Places like Snack Adam are less than $5 for the meal.

These places of "women only" this and that, is quite sexist, the unprivileged in Morocco is men, they endure the most hardships, women in Morocco due to Islamic culture don't have to work if they don't want to when they're married (Generally).
