In prison, they might see less because there's a closed pool of patients. But like prison doctors I've known, this guy probably finds prisons don't give doctors all the resources they need, they're also hired by private companies that fail to manage staff needs effectively.

25:35 my manager is a former CO (I work at a homeless shelter) and this foo was telling me about “the loaf” today. He said “we were giving them all the daily nutrition in one loaf, but then they put a stop to it and wouldn’t let us feed them the loaf anymore”. He said it like it was a BAD thing they banned the loaf.. because he’s not a good person and he gets a sick thrill out of making people eat that. He has no business working at the shelter either to be honest. They like ME, because I treat them with respect. I’m the farthest thing from a cop.

I did 2 1/2 years in Virginia Beach Jail yes, jail. The guys from the kitchen told me the meat that they use for SOS says not for human consumption on the box. All the vegetables are grown on a farm that the sheriff owns. His wife owns and runs the canteen, as well as the staff kitchen/restaurant. All the money that comes into the jail. Besides, the telephone is going to the sheriff is that conflict of interest?

The fact that people know all if this information and still volunteer for prison, what does that say about our society, our community ? We can no longer go with the excuse that they don't know the consequences ....cuz THEY DO KNOW. The conditions should only get worse, not better. 1 meal a day, 1 shower a week. We have veterans who have served their country, but are eating out of the garbage. When you sign up for prison, meaning you consciously committed a crime to get there, you sign up for all of the horrible conditions that come with it.
