Taro is a kind of food material which can be cooked in various ways. Today we are going to make several side dishes with taro that we often eat such as taro soup, taro and pickled bamboo shoots porridge, taro crispy chips, Stir-fried taro with ham and stir-fried taro stem with pickled papaya.
They are all made by taro, but each of them have their own taste. How do you cook the taro in daily life?

We eat the leaves of this plant by putting a spice paste on the leaves and put another leave and repeat the process. Then it's rolled up and boiled and cut into the rings. You can eat it or do a shallow fry on mustard oil

I enjoy watching both of their videos. Very relaxing and enjoyable considering what we are going through currently. I don't understand what the problem is to be honest. Here in the Philippines especially in Bicol region we cook the taro leaves with thick coconut milk, we peel the stem and sun dry together with the leaves and it's called "laing". While the taro bulb can be added to the leaves and stem likewise can be added in pork in sour broth.

In Nepal, we turn the taro leaves into spicy-sour stew/soup. The taro yam is usually added to lentils, stir frys or boiled like a potato. I personally can't eat taro bulbs. They make my tongue itch.
