This is a review of a 2011 Food Packet Survival General Purpose. I actually bought this from RCGusto a long time ago. These things are really nice if you're not in a situation where it's necessary for your survival. If anyone has some of these to sell please hit me up in the comments.

Very cool ration my man. Great idea about giving a shout out to great comments. I really enjoy your vids. They help give me a lift especially on a difficult day. The bars here are really very interesting. Heck the whole ration is different and amazing.

Hey Thanks for the shout out. I appreciate that. Pretty cool little ration you got. I would love to have one of those just to put in a survival kit. For a while there I was in an abusive relationship and we lived out in the bush, there were times when all we had to eat was a slice of bread with ketchup mustard and relish. That soup looked fantastic from that perspective, I would have scraped it out too. It is amazing what you will eat when you are really hungry.Yeah I hear you it SUCKS when you loose footage. That ration would have been a welcome compared to what we used to carry on our fire engines one time on a fire while in an Urban interface protecting a custom home the people had left a note on a big giant bag look like a trash bag it was full of beef jerky apparently they just started a beef jerky company and they knew the fireman would be coming🚒🚒🚒🚒

Great video as usual Smokey. I like the idea of a survival ration that’s mainly bars and small components. Doesn’t seem like it would take up too much space and the bars can be eaten or crumbled up into water. That would be a nice change up.

The survival rotations always intrigue me more than the regular MREs. it makes you think of what you would eat it that situation. I absolutely love your videos. I find they're a little more informative than some other reviewers and I love that!. Will you be reviewing the several man ration pack you showed a picture of? I don't recall you saying whether or not you would. Either way amazing video! Also where can't find this ration? One last question. Would you mind me suggesting a camera for you? I'm a photographer and a videographer for musicians but I think I know a really great camera for you!

Sterling Foods is still in business in San Antonio. There was no way for a consumer to purchase directly from them. The site did say that they do business with the Dept. of Defense.

In a survival situation I'd use that herbox smeared as a bait\attractant on a snare\trap trigger everything likes salt except slugs n snails

I’m here in Iraq right now and I talked to the guy in charge of updating our survival rations and asked if he had any of these. I asked him a day too late. He threw away a whole box of 24 the day prior....... yeah I was extremely disappointed. Trash is taken out daily and I’m not about to look like a fool digging through the trash for rations. As cool as they are. He did give me one that’s still in date because he felt bad. A bunch of MRE style pouches of drinking water. A coulple of pocket stoves. 3 ECOTAT tents vacuum sealed. Looks like they haven’t ever been used. Another unit has an ECOTAT and a survival fishing kit sitting around that I’ve hinted at wanting but didn’t want to look greedy. They didn’t take the hint I guess. So my guy is going to ask around and see if they have anything and he’ll snag it up. I also got some U.A.E 24 hour rations.

Omg nooooooo. Not a whole box. They ate trash digging worthy. They are so protected they would have still been perfect. He hooked you up with some cool stuff. I'd love to get a U.S pocket stove. I have an old canteen stove and WW2 can stove but that's it. The tents are cool too. But I'd definitely have dug that case out.
