Welcome to my Food Pantry Haul & Meals video! The cost of living and the price of food has increased so much that many people use a food bank or food pantry to make ends meet. The food pantry is a great resource to obtain food and household supplies. There is no need to go hungry when there are great resources out there for everyone to use, if you qualify. I encourage you to apply to your local food pantry or food bank if you need help with groceries. Also, it's a great place to meet new people in the community. If you do not qualify for the food pantry or the food bank then please check out your local churches as that could be another option to get help.
Food Bank Hauls & Food Pantry Hauls Are Such A Blessing!
There is no shame in going to a food pantry, a food bank or a local church for help with groceries. The cost of food and the cost of living is high. If you have low-income, lower income or no income then the food pantry may be a great option for you! Inflation prices are rapidly increasing, so more people are using their community resources and programs than ever before. Using your local community resources to help offset the cost of food can help you stretch your paycheck further. Keep in mind that sometimes the food has gone bad. There are times I have received items from the food pantry that were spoiled. Sometimes the food is very out of date and not suitable. Please check the best by dates! If you receive spoiled items, then I'm sure it was an accident. Food banks and food pantries move a lot of inventory and there are times when the food has turned. They have a lot of food that comes through and they're not perfect. Volunteers help rotate and shelf products at the food pantry. Just keep your eye out for best by dates to make sure you are getting the best quality items you can find!
THE FRUGAL LIVING LIFESTYLE!
I live a frugal lifestyle. I shop sales and squirrel away supplies for winter. I am mindful to stock up on everyday items to save money in the long run so I can pay for daily living expenses like electricity. Every purchase I make is a financial investment in my future. It could be a bottle of water or a can of beans. Part of my frugal living lifestyle is using my local food pantry and shopping at thrift stores. Each organization has their own rules and if you qualify, you become a consumer to their program so please follow their rules so you can maintain a good relationship with your food pantry or food bank. I still have bills like everyone else and I budget according to my finances. Although I am considered financially poor or low-income, I do not feel poor. I eat well. I dress well. I have my basic needs met and I work to try to improve my life. Start where you are and work with what you've got!
Thank you for watching my food pantry haul video! It really means a lot to me to see everyone watching my videos. I enjoy making these videos to help others and show what is going on in the East Coast. I hope my meals inspire you to cook at home to save money. Look out for more videos in the future! And thank you to everyone that subscribed to my channel! It means so much to me! These are uncertain times, but you can be certain to plan, prepare and get stocked on essentials.

Yeah the crumpets are like an english muffin. And I already got a ride set up for next thursday to go to the food pantry by me so I can get some vegetables. Because there's not much of community garden right now. And i'm not able to afford a whole bunch at the farmer's market because of the high prices. Most children's medicine has an adnote serving chart. Have you tried making chia pudding? I make it and I really like it. Oh, Hey, how won't you make the toast for? I didn't know you could toast bread in the air fryer what's setting? As always your meals look so good.

@DisabledandPrepping Thank you so much! I enjoy figuring out what I can make from the ingredients I get and how to put it together. I'm glad you are all set for your food pantry trip, that's great. The farmers markets, in my experience, can be very expensive. I hope your food pantry has some good vegetables for you to choose from! I lightly toast bread in the air fryer using the "reheat" setting. But not tortillas (I learned my lesson!). Yes, I do like chia pudding but have not made that in awhile!

@@CareFreeLivingChannel Good luck, one should pop up for you either there or Facebook Marketplace, it might be worth watching that, people remodeling houses often give away existing stoves to make room for new appliances that in my opinion are perfectly fine, if you'd like one. In the meantime, a two burner countertop will cook a lot of meals :-)

Are you a tint house person? If so did you adjust to it okay? Just trying to get some info, thinking about setting one up on the back of my property for a Mother in law suite.
@CareFreeLivingChannel
@CareFreeLivingChannel Жыл бұрын
@GrumpyGrandma2423 Yes, I believe my home is small enough to be considered a tiny house. It measures 455 square feet of inside space. I've actually lived in two smaller places that helped me get used to less space. It took me time to adjust to this home because I did not have much furniture to be comfy. Over time, I got more settled in as I was able to buy things I needed and set it up better (the thrift store, habitat for humanity and Amazon are helpful resources!). A comfortable place to sit is top priority. Setting up your mother-in-law suite is a great idea! I've had the most luck by setting up furniture against the wall and making a clear pathway in the living room so I don't feel too confined. When the door opens there's no entryway, I am literally in the living room!
