@kathlynsteinman3599 Thank you! Yes, the food pantry had some wonderful items. The baked goods are so pretty. The straw really helped to clean the heater. Sometimes you have to get creative! This heater is over ten years old! I wish I had taken better care of it over the years, but frankly I never gave it a lot of thought to deep clean it, so glad I finally did. Maybe I'll get another 10 years out of it!

I use the same system to clean the pilot in my propane heater, except I set it to blow instead.

@hoosierpioneer That's neat! Dust can really build up. I bought the plug-in heater for my job years ago when I worked by the front door, I would be so cold in winter. The heater lasted longer than that job! I been looking at getting a direct vent propane heater, in case the power goes out. Trailers get cold, like really cold!

@sherrycrutchfield2890 Thank you! My area is changing rapidly. Homes are selling for half million dollars, it's crazy! I am considered "the poor" of my area but I don't feel poor. I think that's why the food pantry is so unusual and has a lot of stuff. I'm just grateful for it. I am concerned I'll have to move one day because folks are cashing out on their land value and I do not own the land, so it's uncertain what may happen. But while I got the setup that I got, I'm going to make the most of it and do my best. I've moved a lot in my lifetime, so if things suddenly change it will be hard, but I been down this road before. @karenjones1897 Hi Karen! You are poetic! I decided to leave the coffee maker behind. But I am always looking at my thrift store and habitat for humanity for a gently used keurig. I'm real careful with used appliances especially if set on the ground outside. I'd really like to insulate my shed and make it a little workshop for putting things in isolation with diatomaceous earth in case any critters tagged along, and do minor repairs. I like cleaning things and making them "new" again. I hope your week is wonderful, Karen!

@christophervogt7456 Yes, that's exactly what I need, is another lid for the container! I have used mineral drops before by adding it to a glass of water. I was so lucky to find these supplements at the food pantry. When life was different, I would go to health food stores and buy things like this, but that was several years ago! Hi Sarah another great video Thanks!! Do you think canned air could work to clean out your heater? I sometimes see the canned air at Dollar Tree. Might be cheaper and easier than the tool. I love dumpster diving. ((hugs))

@Shortievaughn That's a great idea! I think your suggestion of canned air is worth trying and could be perfect for cleaning. I used the magnifier on my phone to see the dust and wow it was a lot, I don't know if the video picked up how bad it was! I love dumpster diving too! It's so nice to look and find free things. If I get my shed sorted out, I could start doing small projects renovating furniture from the dump. I don't mind rolling-up my sleeves in these "leaner" times. Working with what you've got really helps!

@lindabell2134 Thank you so much for watching my video! My mini-fridge has a small freezer but I do not have a separate freezer, like a chest freezer. I do look at them online and try to figure out where I could put one, if I got one. The way I have my trailer set up, I have everything against the walls, and a main pathway. I would have to reconfigure the kitchen, which would be fun to do, to be able to add a freezer. It might be better to upgrade to an apartment-sized refrigerator, to go vertical. It's a work in progress, who knows what this kitchen will look like in a year!
