I am grateful that my food pantry has eggs and fruit! They wouldn't be on my list either. In fact, I pulled th eggs off my list right before I started going back to the food pantry b/c my grocery wanted $8 for 18 eggs. That's outside of my budget, and it still would be.

I was surprised to see them, but every once in a while the food pantry has stuff that's better than I could have afforded when I was buying my own food.
