So sad.....what about those who sell boiled mealies and nuts at taci ranks??How safe is this????and those who come to sit at school gates selling to our children????How safe is this to consume????Who checks on this???.

They said the foods are poisonous, I believe there are, but the locals looted the foods in the shops to do what with ?, I don’t know. Probably the situation provided an opportunity for the opportunistic people to loot shops for their own benefit.

Looting has become normalised in South African society, it’s has become okay for South African to loot foreigners shops, every opportunity they get. This is a sad incident, but it has provided another opportunity for people to loot shops. It’s a big shame what’s going on in this country.

Those people are adults buying at they own risk. Can't a grown person see is is unhealthy to eat from a place like that so they are responsible for they own lives unlike children that depends on they parents to show them what's right and wrong.
