It annoys me when people slate this meal. It’s never going to be as good as most of our homemade ones. But for some people, this is their ONLY chance of a Christmas lunch. It serves a purpose and good on the people who buy it.

I tried one and agree they are good considering it's a ready meal. You can also add extras to it. I added some sprouts, mash potato, and some more stuffing. Greedy me 😋😀

Had one of those when they were reduced day after Boxing Day perfectly acceptable. It didn’t look to be enough, but when I got to the end it was just right. Did not have a Christmas dinner on the day, so this was perfect for me. Good review.

I went to get one today, but unfortunately, the person in front of me took the last two. i’ve had it before and I really like it. I think the turkey is lovely and soft and tasty could do with just a bit more stuffing I think and maybe a bit more gravy but otherwise I love it.

It's a good meal if you live by yourself or don't have any family and even better for a pensioner on a budget. Unfortunately it will cost shed loads to cook it. Could be a bit complicated for older people.

Its a terrible meal if you can't read, have no sense of time or cook. But it is only three stages in the oven & if you can't manage that then you need a pub or friend who will make it for you. Not tried this one myself but the Chicken or beef M&S roasts they make are a fine Sunday roast if your on your own. Its never going to be the Christmas meal from years ago with family but if repeating that meal today was an option you would not have bought this in the 1st place. It seems to be a good taste of Christmas meal & for many that's a really nice thing to enjoy.

Hopefully you don’t have to! There are an enormous amount of people who have no choice. I’m sure there are many people who would enjoy the M&S meal rather than go hungry. Anyhow, it’s not about the food it’s about being with family and friends and not being by yourself. I’m fortunate enough to shop where I want and I have family to go to. Being alone is the biggest issue, especially for the elderly.
