Evdokia Arkadievna has dedicated her entire life to preserving the rich history of the Hutsuls, a unique ethnic group in the region. As a passionate collector and keeper of local heritage, she has amassed an impressive collection of ancient artifacts, records, and photographs. Why don't they just let the animals out to eat the grass wouldn't it be less work for them instead of hand cutting it .?

Dmytro brings her in only at night for her safety and during milking. The grass they are cutting is hay for the winter. During the colder months, it’s better for the animals to stay in the barn, as the grass won’t be available and the temperatures can drop significantly. Naturally, during the warmer months, the cow spends most of her time outside.
