Very delicious recipe. I absolutely love sugar cake.viewing the different methods and learned about adding the bay leaf. However prepared - dry and toasted first or sugar water bubbling up first,I absolutely love this delicious caribbean treat.

I agree totally about the long time days of such a time that brings on lasting memories of what some youths today may never know . So true . nostalgia Keep it real and alive.

@@faybeharry3330 hi thank you so very much for watching & your comment I happy that you pointed out the various ways it can be made & you rightly said delicious Caribbean treat your comment speaks about your understanding of food being prepared differently but still delicious you’re amongst very few that understands there isn’t only their way or their family(granny mommy etc) & definitely a lot of good nostalgia that indeed the generations of today won’t know understand or appreciate sadly again thank you for your comment & for watching 🙂

What causes the sugarcake to crumble when trying to cut in squares?
@FoodByChamionWilliamsАй бұрын
@@sirasingh5822 hi thank you for your comment! There might’ve been an issue during the cooking of it! Perhaps not enough water it could’ve also been that the water/milk was reduced to much during final moments of cooking you want it to be super moist after cooking so that it needs to dry out for a bit after…
