JonTron's review began with him standing at a riverside all melancholy over the movie, the Critic's began with him smashing various food products that were featured in the movie, and Phelous's... begins with him surfing on a flying Kraft box. This makes me wonder.. Do movie studios insure their films while in production or anything? So much money is pumped into these things that it seems silly to not 'protect' them somehow in case the data or film is destroyed, or lost somehow. This is discounting off-site data backups, which these folks apparently didn't have..
@ThePhoenix7438 жыл бұрын
A little late in replying, but to my knowledge i the usa there isn't, that's why movie producers are taking risks with each film. The studio/producers have to pay the difference if the film fails to reach its production value. Recently the investor demo reel was posted to KZbin. I cant stand this movie. Just because you have MOTION capture capabilities doesn't mean every character has to move at every second. The captain crunch replacement was fucking DANCING while arguing to Lady X. WHY?!
@blkgardner8 жыл бұрын
+Martin Meers The excessive motion is there to compensate for the lifeless faces and uncanny valley motion capture. The animated characters in this movie can't express emotion with their faces, so they need to flail their limbs around. Additionally, my having several characters move around, it hides the fact that each individual character is moving like a constipated robot. The Dingo Pictures movies use a similar technique: they cut to screen-interrupting-bear while another character is talking to create the illusion of stuff happening.

(Tell me, was she also forced to review Simon Sez with him as well?) And what was so homophobic about that video ayway?
@TDF90559 жыл бұрын
TheDreReichDude Okay, I just read that 'Bye CA' post you mentioned and all I can say is, damn! She got let go because she wasn't at her computer and didn't respond to some e-mail in 15 minutes? That is pretty dumb. Despite that though, I still wouldn't act like Doug is the worst thing ever. I'll still watch his videos if they catch my interest. While the decisions they make are sometimes dumb and some of the jokes can be tasteless at times, saying "fuck them and fuck their fucking website," and calling me an idiot for not knowing about what happened with Doug and Lupa and defending someone for daring to quote a review they both did doesn't make you look any better or more mature.

Wait, so the first item that Brand X sells is detergent, which contains the apparently addictive "elixir" that makes people want to buy the products so much. How does this work unless you're supposed to EAT the detergent? Did Foodfight anticipate that creepy Tide Pods fad?

I think, and this is only a theory, that it was supposed to be "Fat Cat-Burglar" instead of "Fat Cat Burglar." As in a cat burglar that is also fat. Not that he was a fat cat. I could be wrong though.

Brooke Brewer Yeah, they tried to combine two idioms “fat cat” and “cat burgler.” ....doesn’t go too well.

That guy from the ministry of silly walks who stomped the chips was actually the best so far. I cried tears of laughter over how he moved and talked. The best this movie had to offer.

Oh, I have been waiting for this one to get uploaded. This is certainly my favorite review of this movie, even more than JonTron's or the Nostalgia Critic's, and I don't think I'm saying that just because Snacksbradtective is there.

You know when comics mention something that happened in a different issue, they put a little text box that says "See Issue #71" I feel like I need that in Phelous' videos, whenever he makes a self-referential joke. Just a text box that tells me what video he's referencing.

It really saddens me how the Channel Awesome/TGWTG gang used to be united, perhaps even friends. But eventually, poor decisions were made at some point(s) and the group eventually split up. If only things happened little differently and the whole group was still united, but alas, that is not this reality.

Wait, I thought the Snob, Phelous and Loopa were on good terms?

@@welme23 I too thought the snob was cool with them. I suppose they might not agree with him still working together with channel awesome on a regular basis and them sharing studios and all... Unfortunate since out of all the colabs these three always made me laugh the most Edit: So after looking in to it apparently there was some more drama because of the abusive claims and change the channel hashtag. Both sides apparently got rather ugly, lots of he said she said stuff with pretty much no concrete proof for either side by now since various related sources have been deleted or revised, so there's that. You'll likely find posts and stories supporting any of your personal theories as to what actually went on but in the end we will never know for sure. Lots of unnecessary KZbin drama if you ask me.
