Fight with Salad, tired of cooking, oppositional defiance against the demure trend as well as against her chat trying to ensure that she stays on a healthy path. The cycle is cycling..we've seen it ad nauseum in the past. She asks her chat, others who she values, to keep her accountable for what she eats. Then the Chantal demon in her head takes over and everything goes to shite. I believe losing weight gives her anxiety. It's not what she is used to physically or psychologically so she reverts to the foods that are comfortable to her which unfortunately is crap. I was Chantal. I know the behaviors, but several blood clots on my lungs have forced me to change my entire life. You make a choice..eat to live, or live to eat and suffer the physical, psychological, emotional and social consequences.

IMO, Chantal has been putting on a health arc show for views. This angry junk food binge onscreen is her FU to Salah. She probably had a fight with Salah, maybe over not wanting to cook. So like a petulant child she orders a junky meal and eats it onscreen. Depending on whether the current drama will raise the KZbin income or not, Salah will allow Chantal to carry on in this manner. He really does not care about her health and well being but only in her ability to bring in money. As soon as the level of income becomes unsustainable, Salah will end the onscreen marriage/business relationship and send her back home to Canada. Chantal knows this and is going crazy trying to keep her audience interested. Hence her seemingly erratic behaviour.

I think there's several reasons for her to act this way. Yes, she's trying to go viral of course, and Sally is most likely pressuring her to make more money. Then there's the food issues and exercising.. She hates physical discomfort and being on a diet, and can't seem to change her attitude. She also wants to see quick results. When she's not a skinny super model after "trying so hard" for a week, she gets pissed. She can't accept that it takes 2 - 3 years of hard work for her to slim down to a normal(ish) weight. She refuses to see her reality and prefers to live in a delulu land. I've said this before and I say it again: She needs to start being brutally honest to herself and to her viewers. Lies bring nothing but negativity and misery in the long run. What will happen when her fake marriage is over? She should think about that and be prepared because it will happen soon.

Funny her husband's is trying to get her to not eat, whilst mine is making me eat mine..😂 He got Little Cesar's cracker crust bc I said years ago it we OK and I could eat it again, sometime.
