100% agree with your review. This comes to our table often, we play it 2-3 times and then we're done. If the food stall cards were tiles in a big bag, it would have reduced setup time a lot. It's a lot easier to randomize tiles. I love your idea of a race for the special chefs; I think we'll try that as a house rule. First player to hire gets 4 pts, second gets 2, others get none.

I've just watched Tim Norris play thru of this a few hours ago. It seems like the type of game I would enjoy over Machi Koro Legacy and maybe even Space Base.

Does a tie for the most count or do you have to have sole possession of the most?(America/France) AFter you place a stall you meet the requirements of both Chefs do you get to place both your star markers and collect both sets of points? Thanks

I believe the rules say those that have the most, so I believe ties also get it.

@@TheGameBoyGeeks I thought that but the wording on the board says "Hire Chefs". I would think maybe 2 cause it could easily say "Hire a chef". I appreciate the replies.

Yes, if you play a card that meets more than one Special Chef requirement, you can hire all the chefs whose requirements were met in one single turn. We hope this information helps.
