Great list! You make a persuasive argument for your rankings, and almost convinced me Caesars Palace should be ranked above Venetian/ Palazzo. 😁 I would love to see a separate ranking based on mid-tier and cheaper dining options at Las Vegas resorts for those of us on a more limited budget.

FYI, Stripsteak over at Mandalay Bay was just completely renovated. Looks amazing. I was just at Palazzo, Mott 32 & Delmonico Steakhouse were AMAZING. I agree with you Jean George's Steakhouse is arguably my favorite steakhouse in Vegas & Carbone for italian.

We always keep things the same on our trips. We luv Andiamo’s for the steaks at the D. The best hash browns, when I’m hungover are at The El Cortez Siegels👍😻. I’m not a fan of the strip. But, your review is awesome. ☀😋

I simply think they need to do something a little more light, sparkly and interesting at the casino ceiling at Paris - seems kind of drab. Love the restaurants tho. Need to stay at one of their rooms sometime. Great tips here. Cheers.

We ate at Mastro’s when we stayed at Aria last year. That NY strip steak was absolute bliss. Best steak I’ve ever had. We got the mac and cheese and creamed corn as sides too, and both were great. The Mastro’s Manhattan was an excellent cocktail, especially if you like bourbon. We are staying at Mandalay Bay in a couple months. I can see why it’s overlooked, since it’s on the south end of the strip

This list proves that you can't really go wrong with food in Las Vegas. That said, even as a huge wynn fan, I don't think it's number one because it's limited on options relative to every other property. Wynn really only has high end restaurants. Wazuzu is great on the mid-level but that's all you have as Allegro is just fine. I will concede that Wing Lei was probably my best Vegas meal ever.

Of all the Vegas You Tube reviewers, Coolist, you are by far the best authority and reviewer of Vegas restaurants. I won't go to a high end restaurant unless it has your seal of approval !

I think that when you combine the Cosmopolitan and Aria and then the Wynn/Encore with the Venetian/Palazzo, these are the 2 best choices on the strip. Whenever I stay at Cosmo or Aria, we always end up going to the other property to eat and drink, as they are so close together. Same with Wynn and Venetian, so easy to go between them and eat and drink at the other property. I don't enjoy Wynn's lower priced eateries, but the Venetian makes up for that. Cannot wait for your reviews on The Palms, Waldorf Astoria, possibly Rio and Four Seasons. Then I think you will have stayed at almost every property that matters, unless you decide to go to Red Rock or Green Valley Ranch. Keep up the great reviews

The "S Bar" at The Mandalay Bay was so chill and enjoyable!! The wings were so delicious! We were served some very cool drinks by that AMAZING Bartender...he was from my Home State...so of course, we got 2 free cocktails:) The lounge area and the music was TOP NOTCH!! When I go back to Las Vegas in July, I will slide myself back to that bar!! I tried to make reservations at The Mayfair Supper Club at The Bellagio...they were BOOKED!! That's another hotel that has great dining! I'll be staying there again on my return in July!!! Thanks for the video!!

Encore is my favorite hotel and they have my favorite restaurants, but they really have only elite dining options. Not everyone can afford SW steakhouse and for anyone coming to Vegas (even on a budget) I’d go to resorts world, they really have everything there that’s available to anyone, whether you are on a budget or not. They have so many high end restaurants as well. Yes, I’d give it to Wynn/Encore for experience, but you can grab a quick inexpensive bite at resorts world as well.

I would pretty much agree with you. Vegas is certainly a great place for excellent cuisine. A far cry from the $5 steak they used to be known for.

Agree - my go to restaurant is Javier not because of the best food, but the price. The Fajitas for $30 is some of the best bargain food on the strip. When I eat at the Wynn I always dump north of $200. This was back in 2021 though so i'm sure it's more expensive now because everything seems to have gone up 50%, so maybe those $30 Fajitas are gone.

Maybe come back with a mid tier and cheap eats. Something you like, or restaurants. To me, tastee doesn't always mean high-end. I have never been to many of the restaurants you ate at. I have at Wynn, Aria, Caesars, and Mandalay Bay. What I like about the Venetian , Palozzo, and Cosmopolitan is their mid tier and cheap eats. I go to The Henry at least once every trip. Hattie B's(I grew up in the South), Distract donuts, Secert Pizza, and China Poblano, Black Tap, Grand Lux. I know your content leans to the end, but I think a lot of us would like to see that content as well.

I've eaten at many of these places and I can't disagree with you. I'm curious about Wakuda that just opened at the Venetian, I've eaten at their restaurants in Australia and Singapore. I'm hoping the quality will be as good as those locations.

John Curtas is by far the best Vegas food critic, no offense to Coolist who does an awesome job with the casino restaurants, I don't think I have ever heard him complain about pricing, and he said he went to in n out following his only meal at Wakuda. Also said it might not be as good as the off strip Sushi best places.

@@balbomb I don't know who this John Curtas is but I agree that many off the Strip Japanese restaurants are the best. As I mentioned earlier, I've eaten at Wakuda restaurants in Singapore and Australia, I hope the quality is as good as those locations. Just like everything else, restaurants are very subjective. I'm planning to get dinner at Wakuda when I'm back in Vegas this spring.

Totally nailed 10-7 imo, after that I think I have a few disagreements. 6) Bellagio- and I think it is 6th by a big margin. Restaurants feel outdated, Yellowtail and Le Cirque are shells of their former glory, and they don't have one amazing restaurant to make up for it. 5) Venetian/Palazzo- totally gross for them to only be 5, but the current rotation of restaurants are some of the weakest they have had since opening and I think there are a lot of steakhouses that have closed the gap on Cut. 4) Aria- Carbone might be the number one restaurant in the city when you combine atmosphere and food quality, jean georges steakhouse the food is better than at Prime, but I really am not a fan of Javiers which is insanely overpriced and Catch which suffers from the same problem and the food is just a mix match of popular Asian dished from the last ten years 3) Caesars Palace- I think once Peter Lugar opens, this ranking won't be in much dispute, but I have to give major props to Guy Savoy, arguably the best restaurant in the United States on any given night. You combine that with fun restaurants like Mr Chows and Hells Kitchen, and Amalfi which is 10x better than I would have ever expected from a Bobby Flay seafood place, and Old Homestead which has the best burger in Vegas, I think these things make it number 3. If you take off Guy Savoy which is a place only a few people will ever go to I totally get the number 6 ranking. 2) Resorts World- Incredible mix of restaurants. Top ten steakhouse, 2 Nicole Brisson restaurants are very good italian, Wallys is expensive but one of the best lunches in Vegas, Viva I think is a better version of Javiers that not a ton of people know about, and even places like the Caviar Bar hit a niche that few others can match. Combine that with a good roster of casual restaurants put's it over the top compared to Caesars for me. 1) Wynn/Encore- totally agree, based on watching most of your videos I wasn't sure Cipriani would hit all the notes it did but that is my favorite lunch spot in the city and arguably the best service. The crazy thing about wynn is that this is not nearly the best lineup of restaurants they have ever had. There used to be a Daniel Boulud restaurant/Paul Bartolotta had his only restaurant in the country which was the best italian seafood I have ever had, and they had a michelin star french restaurant that could compete with robuchon/savoy. I feel like SW has never been better than it is now, MIzumi is the best high end Japanese/sushi in Vegas, Wing Lei is gorgeous, and Sinatra is criminally underrated.

Here in the SF bay area we have nothing that even comes close to the steakhouses in Vegas. Nothing!!! STK just recently opened a steakhouse here. They served me a new york cut and called it a ribcap. They were assuming I didn't know what a ribcap was.

The atmosphere at Luger is great, old school new york feel, but it is criminally overrated. The wait staff embraces being rather rude, the steaks are no better than you would get at a place like One Steakhouse or Oscars, places that aren't even in the top ten in Vegas.

I would definitely listen to an argument on why it's better Paris. I would have a more difficult time understanding how it's outranks MGM. Bring lots of alcohol if you plan on persuading me that it is superior to Caesars 🍻

@@Coolist MGM really relies on Robuchon because it clearly provides an experience that none of the other four provide. But all the other restaurants are celebrity chefs who are from two generations ago…Cosmopolitan has more modern restaurants with modern excellent chefs. Many of whom are still cooking in some capacity. Where those other four are all names that were big in the late 90s early 00s But that’s why food is fun, everyone enjoys different stuff!

Do people really pick hotel based on what restaurants it has? Unless it’s not centrally located, I feel that most people will just go (walk drive or Uber) to places that have good reviews. You don’t get any benefits for being a hotel guests at the location. Like it doesn’t matter where the show is at, I’ll still buy tickets and visit if it’s good. Is that just me?

You can't go wrong with any of these listed, but personally I'd put Resorts World at #1, Venetian/Palazzo at #2, Aria #3 and Wynn/Encore #4. I understand your case for Wynn/Encore as #1 because they do much of the utmost quality food, but by that same metric Bellagio would also have to be at or near the top and I just don't think either hotel has the complete, well-rounded portfolio Resorts World and Venetian/Palazzo especially have. Almost all of Wynn/Encore's restaurants are awesome, but they just don't have as many and certainly lack the range and diversity of the resorts I ranked above them. The fact Resorts World inspired no fewer than FOUR separate dinner reviews from you, more than any other hotel to date................and you have yet to even check out Famous Eats (I know you said you wanted to and will do so next time 🙂 )..................pretty much solidifies the case for Resorts World clearly being #1 in my mind.

I've been compiling and tweaking this list for several months. Over that time span, many iterations were made. Ultimately, this is the one I felt was most accurate, but in more than one version RW was #1 overall. Any of the top 4 could be strongly and influentially presented as #1. The fine dining competition among the best Las Vegas hotels is fierce.
