Hi, I love your channel. I can't wait to try the food you show in this video. I bought flight tickets to visit Japan this summer from England. My stomach is sensitive to gluten, as it gives me diarrhoea. I will bring some gluten-free cereal with me, just in case. Can you provide some suggestions for people who have diet requirements who are going to travel to Japan like me?❤

Thank you !! Sushi and seafood dishes are very healthy!! but we usually use soy sauce for seasoning so that it's nice to have a gluten free one from a grocery store!! Ramen and Wagyu beef are tasty but it has too much fat and calories so they're not for diet but it's tasty🤤 You can get salad chicken from convenience stores, and it's really good for on diet👍

Hi iNok! Loved this video. I am a very adventurous eater so when I was in Japan I tried most of these foods! I had horse meat in Fukuoka as an appetizer before Motsunabe and it was delicious. I also had raw horse meat sushi in Asakusa. Also I tried rare Nagoya Cochin chicken in Nagoya and thought that was tasty too. I think the only thing from your video I didn't try was that fermented squid, maybe next time. 🤣 Oh and I like natto too, especially maguro natto over rice, that's my favorite.

Oh wow thank you for sharing this dishes and the location! I do wish you put the price in them as well for curious people like me who wants to find and try it when coming to japan next time 😅 especially the whale skewers and horse meat since we dont have it in where i live! from all the strange food you mentioned... Mentaiko, Tarako, Uni, Beef Tongue & Intestine are my favourite! I'm suprised theres deer meat is not more common in Japan especially with news of overpopulated deer in Nara 😅 There's also yakiniku like in many south east asia country (singapore, indonesia, malaysia) but in some of them beef intestine and pork meat are not available! We dont have kura sushi in where i live but there is Sushiro in Jakarta and there's mentaiko with cheese sushi which i love to eat too!

Thank you for your idea!! I missed some prices for food so I took all the price away from the video😂 My bad😅In Tokyo we don't have much and it's not popular either! I don't eat much as well. Even you don't have some food from Japan but you can have plenty choices of Japanese food! Jakarta is very friendly city to Japan🤩

Hi iNok can you do review on some Japanese Burger places (restaurants or cafes) in Tokyo?! I know theres so many new burger local places but I only heard of Mos burger, Freshness Burger and I think Eggslut.... but I feel like theres alot of burger places in Tokyo that actually tasty! 🤣

I want to try natto! What’s a good way to try it without offending a chef if I don’t like it? Getting some from a conbini or conveyor belt sushi place?

We can have small portion form conbini or conveyor belt sushi restaurant so it's better to try some and see you can eat or not!! If you don't like it, you can leave it alone😂

Hi Inok! I really enjoyed fugu, I even had some Japanese people tell me they would never try fugu but I quite enjoyed it, and I love innards / organ meat. Last time (the first time I ever went to Japan) I tried so many different types of food and I loved every dish ! well.... Except for Natto I could do without that in my life 😂one of my all time favorite dishes is 親子丼 ! i could eat that 24/7

I love natto, but I can see why the slimy texture would put people off. If you don't mind the slimy texture like okra, you will love this. Otherwise, it's like having a mouthful of snot during the cold season.

Whale meat is a no go for me. Whales should not be hunted and killed. I know that Japan has a different opinion on this. One of the few things that I dont like about Japan.

I chose beginner level of Japanese food so I think it's not that hard to eat them all!! However, you can eat cod milt???? It's awesome!! It's not really good for me😅
