Sudbury resident here, Mick’s is by far the best chippy in Sudbury. When me and my family go on holiday we always compare fish and chips to Mick’s and we have never found one better.

Bless that man you spoke to with the stroke xx ...Sudbury ...along with most other Suffolk villages/Towns were built up from wool and silk industry and agriculture....where you were in that square ...just literally up the road 10 minute walk is the historical Stephen Walters Silk Mills....they still weave silk and other fabrics today...and you can go and visit them and the shop....please go back to Sudbury and learn a bit about it's history....wool and silk were big back during the Industrial Revolution...when working in silk and wool mills weren't a nice place to work and relied much on child labour back then too. When ypu pointed your camera down the square is where the bus station is.....get a bus into the historic town of Lavenham....30 minute journey.....it's an old medieval town again built from the wool and silk industry...with fantastic old houses...and some great food served up n some great places...now is about the best time to go as in Summer it's so packed with tourists!!! x

Skate is fantastic. Although don't like it from a chippy prefer it oven baked. Lots of fish with cartilage in the middle. Mega tasty. My favourite.

Hi, you need to try Britannia Traditional Fish & Chips in Small Heath, Birmingham. It is just 2 minutes from Bedders, and I believe they are better than Bedders. Ask for the large cod and chips or masala cod and chips. It is the best fish and chips in Birmingham. You need to try it! I promise you will love it :)

Rock is commonly called Rock Salmon, and is actually Dogfish, a small shark like creature and is also the same family as Skate!

In nz they often serve shark and call it Lemonfush to avoid saying shark. In Australia they call it Rig to avoid saying shark.

i have family in Sudbury....they lived their for years ....i love going there....went to school there for a term too when o was younger...just love it there....shame the Butchers went in that square after 'new' people complained about the window display!!!! x

Thing with Rock is you get those rubbery bones. That's why I don't eat it anymore. And Rock is a kinda eel fish I believe.

I have a recommendation for great food. It's called Toups Cajun kitchen here in Leesville Louisiana. I went there today and had their fried Cajun shrimp and fries. And I've never had shrimp as good in my life. Please come and give it a try

Fish and/or chips should be served in paper....nothing else...not polystyrene, not plastic cones, not cardboard boxes.....just paper!!!! it's all about portion control and really does (in my opinion) affect the taste and texture....i don't mind a bit of grease lol...i just find that cartons etc make it bland....i love when the paper soaks up the grease...keeping it's flavour!!! x

"Rock" means "not the genuine article", as in rock salmon. A weaver is someone who weaves. You might have mentioned that Sudbury is the birthplace of Gainsborough, one of England's greatest artists. Don't hesitate to ask if you need advice before posting your videos (which I greatly enjoy).
