To many fish and chip shops have tried cutting to many corners and deteriorating the product if you have a good chippy worship it and on the beef dripping debate the only way they should be cooked in my opinion just be wise and eat in moderation

Dont agree with beef dripping being worse than oils. It's a natural fat that has a high smoke point and the body knows what to do with it. Hydrogenated oils = really not good for you.

What a rip off! A piece of fish that small and chips for fifteen quid! Christ. My local chippy will sell you a significantly larger portion, curry sauce or gravy or peas, a tin of pop, all cooked to order in beef dripping for £6.60

Order sampi, fish in the U.K is shit, unless you go fishing and catch a tasty pike or trout. Far better tasting than that sea shit.

Do you mean scampi? Langoustine? Dublin bay prawns? Nice. But I think fish and chip shops would already be selling trout and pike if anyone would buy it? But they're not, so maybe you should start selling it if there's such a massive gap in the market.
