Turning every 2 minutes is pointless. Every time you open the grill it kills the heat consistency. Just cook them for 20-25 minutes and turn once at the halfway point.

Sure wish I'd read this post before making it according to the video, Doh! However, the corn was the best ever. The kernels where still plump, juicy and sweet but soft enough to pull off the cob with almost no tooth pressure.

I use this method a lot,and it definitely keeps the corn moist. You might want to try putting some of your favorite BBQ rub in your butter and then putting it on the corn; I love it and it adds great flavor.

Nice video. I would but it on the top shelf so the butter doesn't burn. Cooking it for 35 minutes and flipping just once. I also wrap it tighter and put a pinch of sugar on it as well with salt and pepper. Give it a try. Flipping every two minutes is way to much work. You could be prepping other stuff while the corn cooks. With the foil wrapped tight the heat holds and keeps cooking.

Tommy Truth if only there was a way to butter corn after its cooked, but alas.... Seriously though, I sometimes do corn this way. Depends on how much time I want to put in it. It can easily be cooked on the grill without doing anything, just throw it on in the husk. Some people pre-soak it in water but I find that's totally unnecessary.

Soak the corn in the husk in water for about an hour, put them on the grill for about 30 -40minutes. You can turn them once after the 15 minute mark. Pull them off the grill, butter and season to your own taste. Do not remove the husk all the way from the cob. This not only gives you handle, but it’s easy clean up, just eat and discard the whole ear.

This is a great bbq method but I suggest people add a flavoring method....whipping your butter with onion soup mix before spreading it on your corn works great...I add an additional club house legrill vegetable seasoning to top it off......keeping the lid closed will reduce cooking time as some have mentioned which I do and have had no complaints with the outcome and its great to not have to season or butter your corn during a bbq feast. I did it it for a professional chef who was a relative to the birthday man and got rave reviews from him and his wife so the cooking method is great just use your imagination and make sure you season.
