We covered 5 famous eateries including Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Coffee Bar, South Kitchen , Hotel Dwaraka , Upahara Darshini , Bhaskar's Mane Holige.
1. Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Coffee Bar
Established in the year 1963-64 is now run by Mr.
This Hotel is famous for their Idly sambar!
Idly is soft , sambar is light on tangy side and a little on sweeter side.
Chutney is perfectly made and accompanied along with Idly Sambar.
We tried Idly along with both sambar and chutney and loved it completely.

A place very well known eatery for their pocketfriendly priced tasty breakfast options.
Especially their Navane Bisi Bele Bath and Banana Kesari bath are top notch.
Bisi Bele Bath is more on sweeter side.
Definitely a must try place!

Oldest Fast Food Eatery chain at DVG Road is famous among localites for variety of breakfast options.
We love their rice bath here, especially on wednesdays and sundays since they make ghee rice on wednesday and veg Biriyani on sunday.
We shot this video on saturday and it was pulav which was strong in masala flavours.

5. Bhaskar's Mane Holige
Located right next to Upahar Darshini at DVG Road is well knwon for its differnt range of Holige / Obbattu.
We thought of trying Badam Holige but their was this season's special Mango Holige which was priced at 40₹
The size of the holige was quite big and the fillings were very generous.
Do try it before the season ends.
The shop opens around 7:30am, However, the hot and fresh holige you get after 10am everyday.

Foody monk had vegetable bath in UD not pulao. UD does veg pulao, ghee rice, veg bath and nati veg bath. UD does veg pulao in ghee rice style served with raitha on tuesday, friday and sunday. Ghee rice on wednesday is served with veg sagu. Veg bath(Red) is red in color and Nati veg bath(Monday) is green in color are served with raitha. Apart from this, they do delicious bisi bele bath, vangi bath, puliyogare and lemon rice dishes. UD khara bath is very good.
