”It doesn't look like the typical place to be struggling”. Let me tell you something, anywhere can have struggling, and anywhere that has a single mother will CERTAINLY have struggling. Stay strong and God bless.

G'day, Jennifer! Stepping up, swallowing your pride, and availing yourself of food from the local food pantry for yourself and your children does NOT constitute failure. You are doing the right thing by walking through those doors of charity. May Almighty God bless you and keep you in His care.

NO veteran of our military should have to go through this! I feel that will never change, but we should be able to take care of them like the defended us. Til there is something done with that I see no hope for anyone if there is no hope for them. Not to mention this woman IS STILL working full time now. It's not like she is out for handouts, and not trying. Heartbreaking for sure!

veterans should not have to go hungry. They should be taken care of because they made sacrifices for the USA.

The father's wages should be garnished so the kids get support. And why are they having frozen pizza? Rice and beans and frozen veggies can be pretty cheap.

If I was rich...I think Iwould open a food pantry for families.

I hate that word food insecurity! And, families not being able to feed their families has been around for DECADES! While I served in the military I knew of a female soldier in the early 80's who would constantly say out loud in formation how she could barely afford to feed her family. It was heartbreaking to hear.

Going to a food pantry to feed your two girls is not failing failing is having too much pride by not going to a food pantry to make sure your kids have food

I feel so sorry not only for American but for all developed Countries, because most of their citizens don't have Land even to grow Vegetables, here in Tanzania, majority can't afford buying beef but things like fruits , corn meal, beans, all kind of vegetables and fish are very cheap, may God bless this family and all who are suffering.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

The best way to ascertain your child or children will live with constant food uncertainty is to abandon your wife or husband

If getting 50 cent raise affects your losing child care the first thing I would do is talk to my boss to see if I can work one less hour a week to put me back under that amount to get my child care restored

A $.50 raise and her child care jumps from $100(ish) to over $1,000!?!?!? WTF!?

If you make $15.50 an hour and now make $16.00 an hour that put you over 35000 a year before taxes there go by before taxes not after

I'm not Religious but I thank God for incredible People who Lead this great Company as so many just think of Enormous bottom lines and you think of hungry kids. even though I'm Canadian I just entered a Monthly payment for this great cause. if a lousy $10 Canadian can feed just one child then it's a blessing. I have heard that donations of Cash is so much better than cans or Pasta for those few amounts in cash can buy twice as much used wisely by those in this system. I would encourage all on here with these videos to ask FOR CASH!!

This is the result of bad money organisation from local councils to the government...the corporate world ..the cost of living as rocketed..and we need to get back to balance..but I dought that will happen ..feel sorry for those kids and her mum heartbreaking ...truly is ..the governments are responsible for balance.....

If ConAgra makes all that food then they can just give it away b/c of their huge profits they've made off the citizens, as have ALL wealthy people! Don't be fooled by someone's home though. I know people who live in a nice area and are not rich. They just put everything they own into the house.

here is a thought, 2% of the worlds population OWN 98% of the worlds wealth which means with a "small" donation of around 300 billion from just a few of these wealthy mulit trillionaires ,hunger and poverty could be eradicated from a number of small countries :-)
