I had just moved to Southwark, London from the US to study music. My second day there and my new roomate Niall bought me a ticket to the first night of two shows, hoping I liked the Foo Fighters. I did. Best concert I ever saw. We met these two girls at the show and somehow ended up at a pub in Brixton which is nowhere near Wembley. We got trashed, exchanged numbers, said goodnight and somehow made it home. The next afternoon they called and asked if we wanted to go to the second show. We did and did it all over again. And the second was even better. Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones played with them. My time in London was the best two years of my life. I will love that beautiful crazy fucking city for the rest of my life. This video makes me miss it so much. And Niall and I are still best friends to this day.

What people need to realize is this I saw the foos, I adore T Hawks, fabulous drummer. Addiction is a very real thing. My heart absolutely breaks for him and the fact he lost his life. I was under the impression that this concert was in 2009, but I cant believe their wembley concert was already 15 years ago. What a perfect, awesome, and epic song to play to a huge crowd at wembley. Must be the best feeling in the world to hear thousands of fans screaming the lyrics to your song along with you while you perform.
