The amazing talent singing this song is the late Dennis Fredrick Greene aka Denny from Sha na na! Original vocalist and professor in law/former vice president in Paramount pictures. Truly a great man and a very talented one as well

I was too busy being a hippie in 1970 to appreciate Sha Na Na. What a great idea, doing a retro act when there was no competition for this genre, and then putting on this stage act. There is 50s greaser camp and great staging.

I watched the show as a kid and always thought Santini was out of place because he was bald and not as "sexy" looking as Denny or Johnny. Watching these videos now, however, DAYUM Santini is SO smooth a dancer. WAY better than anyone else. And he just exudes hotness. And I think I read that the good Doctor was the choreographer for most of the dance routines the guys did.
