Nice video. Pretty cool watching. I've blown 2 12" kicker Comp hooked up to 2 Fosgate 800s. It was mostly on a dare. Friends of mine bet me $500 that kickers could not be blown. They tried telling me my amps would over heat and clip before the speakers. They were so wrong, shit was great to watch and just have a great time doing it. I see why you have such a huge smile while doing it.

There are some that swear up & down that everything sundown makes is gold and I would argue otherwise. I blew a soundqubed hdc3, it handled power, but i pushed it too hard for too long, luckily soundqubed has good prices for recones, i turned it into an hdx 15

You can get a recone kit for any SQ Subwoofer. I know you can care less with all the subs you have but burning a SoundQubed subwoofer was just hard to watch even though it was only a HDS2.1 12.

It sucks when you get moved by the music and your just jamming , everything is sounding perfect and ....ffffleeerrrrcccrrrsshhhh ... You unwind the coils on some of the mintiest Rockford hx2's . Been there homes it sucks. Really enjoyed the trip down the lane. Like I've said before, we are proud of how far you've come in the channel. Blaupunkt are cheap but if you don't clip them they actually get louder than you think for $39 subs and surprisingly don't sound to bad. Would love to see you test some. They also have push terminals. P.s. looks like you have your own nice little shop going on 👍

Up until now I haven't been able to afford any decent subs but I've blown a ton of them what I remember most of all is blowing amps that really breaks my heart. I have blown amps right after I've gotten them and I've blown amps after I've had them for a while all doing foolish things making adjustments and connections while the power is on and music playing

Keep blowing amps.... Most amp failure is do to lack of power..or wired at low ohm load. Not big enough power wire... Loose connect too lost two amps because of connections came loose... Alternator power?

@Michael Johnson you're going to have to start paying closer attention & doing installs & tunes properly if you ever start investing in quality American made or Korean amps! I'd much rather take the time to learn how to do things the right way instead of repeatedly tearing up my gear. I sure don't want to fry my thousand dollar amp or blow a $600 or $700 sub prematurely.

@@itdoesntmatterwhatyourname6128 when I was a youngster I was blowing amps during the install process because I didn't know what I was doing today it's because I'm too confident in what I'm doing but yes you're right knowledge is supreme but with an SMD or an oscilloscope setting gains is just guesswork having a clip indicator helps but when considering your head unit and anything else you might have in the lineup things can get difficult
