@956Bassaddict it did a 147.8 on music before w the smart 5 sealed up the right way and at my peak. And I can tell it's louder so I'm hoping to be pushing that 150db. I'm hopeful lol. I'll post it all once I get there. All that was on the same dsp settings I had on the smart 5.

Been eyeing that Big Boss 8. Did my electrical and just got my lithium in, ready for an 8-12k but am still on a 2k amp right now and getting impatient. Thats a real nice gain going from a 5k to an 8k

@plark7323 I appreciate the support! And I haven't had that issue personally. I've got 97k miles on it now so problems like that may start to arise lol. I've had it since 76k miles with no problems thus far. Even with 600 pounds of equipment in the back on the air suspension 🤣🤷‍♂️

@1ohmwrecker ya mine has 108 and it's a known issue they start to collapse. Easy fix look up some videos about 45 min and order from fcpeuro..... only replace parts with oe or oem or you'll be chasing problems

What model sub you got and what size box do you have and with taramps it’s best to have wired to the lowest ohm’s the amp can take cuz it can do 8k @ .5 1 and 2 to help impedance rise also with the filters on the amp just don’t use them they don’t work right just leave low pass off and high pass all the way up and use the cross over on the dsp you will have better sounding bass

@jessebeatty9696 sundown Xv3 D1's 12's in a 4.5cf box tuned to 31hz. It's half a cube too small cuz it's the biggest I could fit. And that's exactly what I do... I use the dsp for filtering. I considered wiring at .5 ohm but I got plenty of power and it's just unnecessary for a daily driver in my circumstance.

@@MoToArchY Yes, the New Big Boss Bass have All the best/latest upgrades, and make rated power @ 1/2 ohm, 1 ohm, & 2 ohm= more chance to fight impedance rise! Its hard to have too much power, i would suggest, since your going to be buying a new amp, just save up a little more $ and buy the Big Boss 8k Bass, as you can always turn it down.

@JacobBitner if I were you, I'd get a 400a autotech alt. Cheapest sold alt you can buy. Mines been running for yrs. And then at least 96ah headway lithium bank. You can build one for fairly cheap. There's a million videos on here. Those 2 xs power will only get you to like 2k watts. Trust me I've done that too lol.

And even better, you can run a agm battery with headway lithium cells. So u can keep the one under the hood. But having pure lithium is better. It'll slow down your recharge rate.
