I just got the game and am trying to set up should I do challenge mode and what leagues should I select why do you recommend?

I wouldn't do challenge mode as a beginner. As for leagues, just MLB is fine, but MLB + NPB (Japan) + KBO (Korea) is pretty common too. Don't pick too many, as it will slow the game down.

Nice win, exciting game. Maciel looks like a baller. I love OBP plus speed/defense guys. Great option to have off the bench or as a starter. Switch hitter too.

Maciel really is the man. I reckon he'll force my hand to either start or trade him over the offseason. He's too good to be a fourth outfielder.

I went hunting for him and Rutherford in my save but they're not nearly as good. Blaze and Maciel back to back at the top might work. I'd put Maciel second. You'd need to drop somebody good though. First world problems I guess, hard to improve on best offense in the league.

Just out of curiosity, how is Jimenez doing in your save?

He's still 22. He got called up late in 2018 and did good. We're a couple months through 2019 and he's just a little below league average. My scout projects his power at 87/100, good contact and gap, average eye and k. So-so defender. The sox want a pound of flesh for him unfortunately.
