My beautiful family I just noticed the part of adding the baking powder was not in the video 😭 please don’t forget to add that as the baking powder is what makes the masa rise 😊❤

Is this the typical tamale? I love tamales but I don’t know what is traditionally used (meat)
@justjules6975Ай бұрын
You can use pork, chicken, cheese with jalapeno, some are sweet too.
@NewBeginningNewCreationАй бұрын
@@justjules6975 I understand that, thank you, I’m asking about the red ones with beef. Is Claudia using the authentic beef in this recipe?? Or are the red ones pork meat?
@justjules6975Ай бұрын
@@NewBeginningNewCreation I’m pretty sure they can be whichever you prefer but the Mexican women teaching me used pork. I noticed ppl from different regions and even households tweak it how they like it. I usually use pork Boston butt. The cheese with jalapeno are my favorite though. I can’t remember what they call them.
@justjules6975Ай бұрын
@ I googled it to be sure and the red chili can be beef, chicken or pork. That’s what I thought

1:51 Nooo she didn’t strain the chile. Remember to pass your chile through a sieve y’all. It’ll take out some of the rougher skins of the chiles. This goes double if your blender isn’t super duper sharp or powerful.
