I haven’t had to deal with root rot so far. Not even my orchid’s have suffered. This is really good info to know just in case. I now know what to look for. Thank you!

What about the yellow and browning leaves from fungal root rot? Do they need to be sprayed with hydrogen peroxide too? Or do they need to be cut off?

Just had to re-pot a money tree because some of the trunks were soft and mushy. I obviously over watered it. When I was doing this I noticed it had a thick wide black sort of rubber band at the bottom, I have purchased another money tree and I'm wondering if this is supposed to be removed from the new one or not? I only removed it from the one being re-potted because I only had two trunks left and it was pointless to keep it there.

I have tried the plants have died or alle the roots have rotted away in days, when i have cleaned the roots remove the root rot and sprayed with hydrogen peroxide, i dont understand what i do wrong, i clean my tools wash my hands, use fresh soil and i still killed a few plants with root rot 🙈

It could be that the plants were too far gone. It’s always best to try and prevent it if you can. Good luck.
