Thanks for your in depth videos. I got 2 questions for you: 1. Pro opponent plays solid brushes to the wall on a LEO. Lets say he never plays stick to wall. Where would you defend? Puppet all the way on the wall or slightly away from it so you can get back faster to cover the lane? 2. Pro Opponent varies passes AND hotspots all the time. Any generell thoughts on defending that scenario? Don't know if i missed it but: - Angle of puppets to catch different passes is also important. - implementing random timing on movement. (otherwise the opponent gets a read on you and knows when e.g. the lane is open) - keeping the hands very loose on the bar in order to actualy catch and keep the ball.

Hi! Thanks for your questions. 1. it always depend on the quality of the wall pass. How long is my opponent behind the ball? Can he wait until the end where he is at the last spot (close to the wall)? Can he execute a good and fast enough close wall pass? How much open can i leave the wall hole, when my opponent is in his set up? How hard is his wall pass? Etc etc. then i have to adjust to all that. But normally a pro player has a good angle, so you have to stand on the wall probably. Slightly away from the wall only when the ball is on the spot of the far wall brush pass. 2. even when a player varies his passes and having more than one sweet spot, he will still have favorite spots/passes and timings. There you have to definitely have a good memory and gather all information to remember every pass and also from which spot he played the passes, so that you can adjust ur defense. If someone has a very very good five bar, it’s normal that you cannot block so many balls. If you look at the elite players, the five bar offense is most of the time pretty good. I agree with your additions! Couldn’t bring everything in in that video because it would have been too much. But you’re right. And there are for sure more things you can use and think of!
