I know you've mentioned it in past videos but please keep reminding that high tops do not prevent ankle injuries!!! So many people go around saying after every star player injury "why is X player not wearing high tops"
@TheCsePower
@TheCsePower 2 жыл бұрын
True. High tops only help with jumping ‘faster’ and nothing else.

hi Zach, thanks for the informative video. I am a huge lakers fan and was wondering if this could be a lisfranc injury like the one chet holmgren had. I just dont want davis to be out for the season hopefully he can recover

Hey Zach have you thought about doing performance reviews for older basketball shoes potentially for some of the major brands signature athletes? Just to see if they stand the test of time like for example the KD 7 or the Kyrie 3 older models in the signature lines
@FootDoctorZach

Weird question. I always hear it's better to break the bone than to tear ligaments. Is there a procedure to "safely" break the bone to heal it faster?
@FootDoctorZach
@FootDoctorZach 2 жыл бұрын
No most of this stuff is freak incidents so once its broken unless its healing in an awkward way or mal-aligned then we just let it go or plate/screw it

Hello Dr. Zach! Do you have any tips/recommendations on how to treat split nails (still intact but an obvious crack across the toenail) due to toe jamming in tennis shoes? Are there any solutions on avoiding the toe jamming and dark nails as well?
@FootDoctorZach
@FootDoctorZach 2 жыл бұрын
Split left to right is more keeping the nail trimmed back and wearing more padded socks split up and down is usually a defect in the root from trauma and should be looked at my local doc to see if it can be resolved- both can be remedied just need examined to see what’s up
