This video goes over a few exercises that you can do at home to Stretch, Strengthen, Massage, and Support your feet with Soul Insole Orthotics to improve your foot health.
There is one more stretch that can be very helpful for those with plantar fasciitis, but was not shown in this video. It is to sit on your heels with your knees bent and feet underneath you, with toes pointed. This is a reverse stretch that can help with instant relief. Let us know if you have any questions!

Can you tell me more about the insoles that you are showing? Do they work for sandals too?

Hi John, the insoles work for sandals. They stick down really well, and the material is such that you can move them from shoe to shoe. If they get dirty, you can rinse them off in the sink and the adhesive will renew. Hey nice exercises!! I have accessory navicular bone (big) in right foot . Can these exercises still be beneficial to lift my arches and strengthen muscles?? Or does this bone causes problems

These exercises should not cause any problems, even with an accessory navicular bone. If somehow one of the exercises is painful for you, then discontinue and consult your doctor. In general, these exercises will only improve foot health by increasing muscle strength in the feet.

Hi sole insole!!! Can this problem reoccur if it is treated? If a person have this problem and he managed to treat it, does that person have higher chance of reoccurring that problem?

Hi Samriddh! Yes, it can reoccur. Plantar fasciitis can be acute or chronic - there are many things that can affect it from vitamin deficiencies, acute injuries, chronic wearing of bad shoes/lacking support, being overweight etc. Exercising the feet and building up the muscles in the feet to support the arch and the ligaments and tendons is one piece of the puzzle to protecting and healing. Wearing good supports in the shoes is another factor that can make a big difference in prevention and recovery.

Do you have specific exercises for Morton’s Neuroma

For Morton's Neuroma, my main recommendations are: 1.Give spacing to your toes by using toe spacers, you could also put your fingers in between all of your toes to help stretch/massage 2. Wear shoes that are spacious and soft with a wide toebox. 3. Wear shoes that have zero drop or a negative heel meaning the heel is at an equal or lower level to the ball of foot region. 4. Use an insert like a metatarsal pad or a ramp to offload pressure from the metatarsal heads. 5. go to a chiropractor that has experience with working with the feet - sometimes a metatarsal is slightly out of place and this can be a reason for nerve impingement

Hi. I tried picking up pens with my feet and for the life of me I can't do it at all! I have PF and I'm trying different exercises. I can pick up marbles but not pens. What exercises did you do to be able to pick pens up with your feet? thanks

I'd agree, it can be a little more challenging to pick up a pen than a marble. Keep practicing with the marbles and eventually I think you'll be able to get it.

It's amazing what you can do when you put your mind to things and do exercises. Some people have even gone from paralysis of their limbs to having control of their movement and function again. We are not sure what the cause of your lack of movement is or if it is able to be fixed, but why not spend some time to see if you can re-build the brain to foot connection and get movement back.

How much time it will take to recover I have no pain because of my flat feet also when I just move my toe upwards I can see curve in my feet but when my I stand on my feet my feet are totally becomes flat so how much time it will take to recover 4 months 5 months years plz tell

Hi Sami! The amount of time it takes to find relief and recover can be different for each person depending on what's going on with their feet. It can also be very beneficial to combine the exercises with wearing arch supports. If you are massaging the feet and breaking up scar tissue, it's really important to wear arch supports after so the the feet heal in a supported position.

Yes! You can actually build an arch back into your feet by strengthening the muscles in your feet and doing these exercises. You sound just like me, my feet used to be completely flat and now I've got a nice arch and my knees are doing great.

@@R9fanatik Yes, in most situations, these exercises can help build the muscle strength in the feet to build the arch back up no matter what your age is. Combining the foot exercises with wearing arch supports is the key! Please let me know if I can help answer any other questions!

I’ve done a few of these things before, my physical therapist taught me to roll my foot on a ball and the frozen water bottle trick, but I didn’t realize that maybe my tight calves are affecting my feet...interesting…

Yes, loosen those calves up, stretch and massage deep. It's going to really help if you're consistent and dedicated to healing up.

The amount of time for healing and strengthening can vary widely from one person to another depending on how long the feet have been injured, the severity of the injury and finding the right recipe for healing which can involve foot exercises, vitamins, proper footwear and the right insoles. What's going on with your feet?

how on earth would you sleep with your feet in a flexed position??

If you're having foot problems stemming from pointing your toes while sleeping, then make sure the covers aren't tucked in tight at the foot of the bed. You can wear a night splint or strausberg sock to keep the feet in a more flexed vs. pointed position.

We've helped thousands of people recover from Plantar Fasciitis. It can go away without surgery, but the method to recover can be different for each person. PF is a main ailment that our insole is designed to help relieve. Our insoles drop off before the forefoot and heel to somewhat suspend the bones and offload pressure. They also have medial, lateral and transverse arch support to keep the foot in proper alignment. Of course it can take time to heal and each person is different. Sometimes we need a combination of the right shoes, doing foot exercises, massaging out scar tissue, stretching the calves and other things like Epsom salt baths, resting and staying off the feet for a period of time, magnesium, turmeric + pepper, collagen etc. to fully recover. During recovery, it can be very important to keep shoes/sandals with support on and to not walk barefoot at all. So we recommend keeping supportive sandals or slippers by your bed at night as well to prevent the arches from collapsing, over stretching and re-tearing the plantar fascia until fully recovered.

Shoes can definitely protect the feet from many potential dangers. Inside the house can be a great place to move the toes and practice these exercises.
