MrKillbox7 Even that I kind of doubt, it didn’t seem like much of an increase in being a popular thing with Overwatch’s release last year, but it’s probably the genre of the game that opened non-MMO or general multiplayer RPG people’s eyes to it. I’d say Blizzard in general have a heavy hand in it, but overall its popularity has just been way the hell up there for at the very least 5 years, particularly with all the other MMO’s dubbed WoW killers before their release (which then hilariously got proven false). What with created characters and role playing aspects of them and such.
