A very nice Shadows cover, dear Charlie with a great-sounding guitar and bass performance! I like! All the best, Ludwig

Thanks Ludwig! Glad you enjoyed it. The bass part was fun to play, I probably enjoyed playing that the most!

Thank you! Took a lot of experimenting to get close to Hank's sound!

@@sharonhamama If it helps, I've tried using two delays and that's got me pretty close. That way the delay signals bounce into each other and you get that Hank sound. Use a tape echo for the main one. Will do - F.B.I. is on my list so will be covering it soon!

❤ your vid’s and run down of equipment. How do you get the ‘popping corn’ effect? Foot tapper has been a challenge for me personally as it is quite fast! I really had to take my time learning the backbone of this piece. One day, it might sound ok 😂

Hi, thanks for your comment, glad you liked it! Totally agree, I've always found it a challenge to play compared to some of the other Shadows songs I've done. I find using down strokes on the faster bits helped me but it took a while to learn - definitely not their easiest song. For the 'pop corn' type effect, it's a combination of palm muting everything mixed with the delay effect I use. I play it through a Boss Katana so I've set the amp up to use two delays - one tape and one digital, with a little bit of spring reverb as well. That way the delay signals sort of 'bounce' into each other. Once I've recorded it on GarageBand, I use the amp plug in on the Vox AC30 setting. It's the closest to Hank's sound I've been able to get and I've tried many times over the years! Good luck with learning it - I'm sure you'll get there!
