Great comparison. The guitars both come with a good sound for "Apache". Nice! All the best, Ludwig

Thanks Ludwig! Think the Squier did a good job, will be doing a few more comparisons soon

It's hard to find differences between the two guitars, but at certain points I preferred the SQUIRE, whose sound was deeper All in all an excellent performance by you on both! I wish I had a sound like that...

Thanks Sharon! I think the Squier did well, impressed for such a cheap guitar. I prefer the sound of the Fender overall but the Squier held it's own. I think it sounded better on the "horse gallop" bits

I think a good player can basically make any guitar sound good. Although not a good player, I own both, set up the Squier, replaced the neck because original had narrow nut end. Look at Zakk Wylde playing a Hello Kitty ! Nice video .

Thanks for your comment! I have to say after a good setup, all my experiences with various Squier guitars over the years have been very positive. The Classic Vibe and Paranormal models in particular are excellent. I'm very tempted to get one of the new Hello Kitty models now you mention it!

Both guitars sound great!!! :) Squier Bullet Strat has ceramic pickups actually. And the Fender Player has Alnico pickups. So obviously there will be lots of difference of sound between the two guitars.

Yeah I thought the Bullet Strat did well! The red Player I'm using has USA 57/62 pickups as I swapped them out. Definitely a big difference in sound but I was interested to see how the Bullet Strat would compare

I think that they both sounded very good. There is a difference of course but it is only small. If you are on a tight budget at lot of fun can be had with the squire bullet and surely that the main thing. But lets not forget that vital ingredient Charlie's playing which excellent as usual.

Thanks Geoff! I thought the same, the Squier does a good job for very little money. It feels well built, no sharp fret ends and a nice neck and fretboard.

The settings are at the start of the video in the screenshots of my amp sim on Garageband. On my Katana, I used the clean channel and set up a tape delay and a digital delay with some spring reverb. I tried to screenshot it as well but I didn't have my amp plugged in at the time so the software wouldn't open!
