Genius review! For me Gazelle OG is a love hate story. It's quite good but they are not my favourites, which makes them feel quite inadequate next to my favourite shoes. Every other shoe feels like a running shoe after using my fav shoes!

Hi. Do down-spoons have any advantage for freestyle? It seems like the only advantage is that it might look better (well, depends on the tastes), but still the shoes recommended by everybody are always down-spoons (Gazelle, Archive Lite, Brasil). So what to think? Or there any equivalent to the Archive Lite or Brasil, but down-spoon? Like the ultimate freestyle shoe?

Thank you. No it applies for all types of shoes. It is not a theory which can be used on its own though. There are a lot of many other things that go into it as well :)

Hi Abraham. The Gazelle 2 has thicker sole and is not as flexible as the Gazelle OG, so doesn't make for as good a shoe for freestyle.

Good question, and the answer is no. It is very difficult to freestyle with. I only got used to it after 2 months. The toebox is too hard and the shoe is not too flexible.

I wouldn't say the best. Pumas have wider soles, but the Gazelles are pretty decent for sole stalls

If you're asking about the Gazelles, as the video says, its not so great for hardcore lowers. It takes time to adjust too, and you don't get great rebound off it so it makes it difficult.
