Contributing to 24 goals in 29 games is actually great, especially when it's your first season in new league, so I'd say on pitch there was never that big of a problem. But they didn't match at all on a personal level.

On the subject of Capello - Ibra relationship: I remember Fabio Capello, during a show on Sky Italia, talked about the first times Ibra was training with Juventus Capello met Raiola who asked him "my guy is already crashing nets for your team, isn't he?" To which Capello answered "for now, the only things that he is crashing, are the windshields of the cars in the parking lot, he just can't hit the ball!" More and more players are adapting their game and are still operating at the top level in their 30s. Ronaldo, Fernandinho, Modric, Kroos, Benzema, Messi, etc. Benzema’s performance this year especially, I can’t believe the guy is 34 now

He's one of a handful of very rare elite players, for sure. When we had him at Man United, it was only for a few years but holy chit what a player. Just amazing. For a start he was intimidating, every player was scared of him, he just had that aura about him that tells you not to get on the wrong side of him, but he also had a ridiculous amount of talent at the same time. He's done stuff only he could or would do like the overhead kick from miles out for Sweden against England.

Zlatan since his 30 played in Ajax, Juventus, Inter, Barcelona Milan. With opponents all the greatest Italian defenders until 2012 and with teamates like Del Piero, Trezeguet, Adriano, Messi, Henry, Inzaghi who also fight for the striker position. Then he went to the French league where the level was to low for him (Montpellier was champion in France 2011!). In France his numbers were even better, played there for 5 seasons. Zlatan was a beast before 30 and a legend after 30!

Just 2 month short of becoming 40 he's still at a world class level especially if a player of the opposition team dares to p... him off he's just stepping it up a level and is still capable of deciding a match all on his own. I'm going to say that he is the only 6,4 feet guy ever to play with such technical ball control and the cool thing is even when smaller guys caught up to him in speed he could with his strength just push them away or hold them off. Amazing kicking skills Zlatan is not like Zidane or Messi that can carry a team he is more like a very unique weapon in the offense arsenal that can turn the tide by doing incredible things

i can guarantee you 5000000% that NOBODY goes hungry in Sweden. not even zlatan. zlatan is one of those foreigners who expect his new country to adapt to him instead of him adapting to his new country.. i am a foreigner living in Sweden myself
