Kpop is an industry that is blatantly corporate and it literally treats it's idols live slaves. I do not want that happening in football, even if the "product" is good.

That period of time is also marked by favoritism by the refs towards Barca, you can go watch a game with any team and see that they were given unexistan fouls anywhere in the pirch, but mainly in the box, while nothing given against them, anyone that fails to see that either never saw a game or is bias..🤷

MCOs remind me a lot of how MLB teams work, the Major league team has a couple minor league teams who recruit young prospects and develop them so they get promoted up the ranks to the major league team. This is kind of a hot take but I kind of like the idea for football clubs to have MCO owners because it helps players who are on those major teams who are struggling to improve by getting sent to one of those more minor teams so they can get more playing time so they can come back stronger. Thats just my opinion though

The chart of win % is quite telling. Mourinho and LVG for crying out loud. TOP managers of all-time and generally considered “not successful” though they did win trophies. It’s been a decade and we’re just starting to correct course. The Glazers and Woodward really had no clue of how to run a successful, title winning football club. I thought Jose would’ve been the one

Of all people Kyle Walker should understand cameras are always watching him. Guess he didn't learn from the nightclub video or from breaking the camera on the sideline. RIP to his career.

I swear ETH was TRYING to get fired this season. Amad was player of the month then he gets benched for like the whole next month? Even Rashford's game management was BS, against Porto he was the best player on the pitch (after he hadn't been very good for several games) and he gets pulled at like 60 to manage his minutes? The final nail was Mazraoui- who had been our most consistent player all season - starting out of position at the 10 when like 5 other players could have benefitted from the minutes freed up by Bruno's absence. Its like dude was begging to get fired.

Since FA isn't penalising Man City for their 115 charges, it seems that all clubs have decided to take matters in their own hands and smash Man City. Either they are seriously playing too bad or that they maybe making other teams believe that City is declining and suddenly City have a resurgence to win the league out of nowhere...but don't think they will win the league this time, they are letting it leave too little too late.

Burnley fan here. Kompany’s promotion season with us is one of the best managerial accomplishments I’ve ever seen at any team. Took a relegated side with only 6 players staying from the Premier League side, sold 4 players for money (the rest were out of contract), started the season without enough senior players to make a matchday starting XI or squad, rebuilt the squad with his own recruitment company with mostly youngsters and unknowns, and then destroyed the league. If we’d had a rival pushing us, that side would have broken all the records (instead, with promotion basically secured by January he used many of the last games to play newer players in preparation for the Premier League). All this while turning a big profit on transfers. Sure, the Premier League season was a mess, but there were many factors to that - losing key loan players from the promotion season (Nathan Tella and Ian Maatsen, both European finalists now), the club not recruitment a left-back (a key role in his system), 13 incorrect refereeing decisions in key games with the score within 1 goal, to name just three. Would we have stayed up despite that, who knows? The gulf between Championship and Premier League is bigger than ever and Burnley is as small a club as any trying to bridge that gap in the last few years. But my point - I’m not surprised he’s succeeding. His way of playing is incredibly effective, flexible, and pragmatic, despite what some other Burnley fans might tell you (he left under negative circumstances, for sure). He’s not a dogmatic Pep clone. I thought he was an elite manager in the making during his time with Burnley and I still believe that to be the case.

the pathetic life of a trafford united fan: their most glorious victory, in a debate, that they celebrated as if they won the UCL was a very marginal 1 goal difference victory over the worst man city on the last 12 years where both goals scored by united ware not because of their attacking prowess or quality, but instead because of the collapse on 1 City player
