For all those hating on Pinto, he won the Zamora award (less goals conceded in a seasson) with Celta de Vigo while there were other GK as Casillas or Valdes. He was great

Yeah, I remember he was a beast for Celta, but I think that is the problem, people from outside Spain these days usually only watch games when Barca or Real (and sometimes Atletico) are playing, so they only remember Pinto as “the other Barca goalkeeper”. Underrated for sure and I think he could have been picked as a back up goalie for the Spain national squads before 2008.
