as a former bears fan that decided to go with justin fields, and root for the steelers now, after constant dumpster fire front office decision after another. its really nice to finally see a team use him properly. since i always lived in cleveland, and never like the browns, the steelers have always been my secondary team, so it was a pretty easy switch. in fact, the one gas station right down the street still orders steelers lighters to this day, because when i worked their 20 years ago, i used to order them just to annoy browns fans, because we only carried steelers lighters. and apparently they have just been restocking them every since, lmao

I'm 46 and originally from Germany. My first contact with the Steelers was in the German army. When we were on guard duty at night, football games, the playoffs or the Superbowl were sometimes on tv. That's how I got into the Steelers, even though it was difficult to follow the NFL back then. A few game clips on KZbin or the official NFL website, completely overpriced US magazines. I still got everything I could get my hands on. You can't even imagine that today, in the age of Gamepass and the like. Go Steelers!

@@ericcole8235 Omar and Waddle have put together the 2 best Draft Classes since the 70s. If everyone can get healthy in this year's Draft class that is. Troy , Frazier and McCormick are going to be beast in my Opinion and I'm hoping Roman Wilson gets to show his talents. Plus Patrick Wilson on Defense looks like he could be the STEEL of draft pick. I they can bolster their defense line next year like they did this year with the offensive line. This team will Superbowl contender no doubt in my mind. I do wish we had another head coach Tomlin is a terrible X and Os coach. He makes some really stupid calls at times. Like not going for the Field Goal, you never pass up points. Chuck Knoll used to preach that.

I think at this point they know russ is comfortable already so theyre making sure Justin gets these starts and reps so he can build up his chemistry and comfortability early on without showing our division/other contenders our full playbook. Arthur Smith is simply Matt Canada in a different form. After Fields called out his own coaches & they panicked, they stopped calling the plays they knew were sabotaging the offense. for 4 weeks. Just long enough for this all to blow over. During thiose weeks the Bears averaged 31 points a game. When calling plays they knew reduced the offensive production they averaged 17.3 points a game the year before they acquired D.J. Moore. So the Steelers are averaging the same amount of points a team deliberately sabotaging Fields averaged with a better roster & presumably without trying to be this bad. yay. All of this is pure BS. Fields is playing less impressively under Smith's too-tightly-controlled BS schemes than he did on a team actively trying to make him look like a bust. These videos are coming out now are cherry-picked as they were before. When media memes get repeated enough people think this makes them correct. People conflate 'popular' for being 'correct.'

Steelers offense is ranked 24th. However, it is hard to believe that it could be any worse than last year with Kenny P and we still won 10 games. I hope Mike T. finally realizes that offense is not his thing and is modest enough to let the offensive guys run the show on that side of the ball. I am not convinced that that is happening yet.

Fans need to understand what it takes for a QB to win championships games and a Super Bowl where Mike Tomlin and the Steeler NFL franchise have been working to achieve for years and it does not include trying to make a backup QB a starting QB. It can't be done! A starting OB is born with the talent and gifts to be an NFL starting QB and Justin Fieldscis not one. Mike Tomlin knows it, Robert Smith knows it, all retired NFL QBs that have won championships and Super Bowls know it , and the Chicago Bears know it! The Bears never intended Fields to be a starting QB. These teams want a QB with the skillset that can lead them in winning championships and the Super Bowl. This is the goal of an elite NFL franchise!

@@BigRenz. Well, I’m pretty bullish on Fautanu (lost to IR), much less so with Jones. Frazier looks to be a rising star. Seumalo has been injured. I’ll be VERY curious to see how the o-line performs once all are healthy. Smith and/or Fields needs to mix it up FAR better. Checking the ball down like 90% of the time makes my di*k itch. WHEN he throws it deep/mixes it up, they can make big plays. Note I’m NOT saying just chuck it deep and often, but mix it up WAY more. Far, far too much checkdown crap
