Aahhh the lesser-spotted Lars ❤ Always love it when he randomly pops up on the Ramble.

Personally I would give Mo his dough. His contribution to the team is undoubted and worth the risk. But he's the exception. Because sadly it never ends well. Other than Salah and KDB, these huge contracts rewarding a player for fine form never works out. A la Ozil, Rashford, Aubamayang etc. I'm sure they don't down tools but must effect motivation

Good win away, Gabriel did that as a dig at Goncalves celebration which mocked Xhaka's celebration, last time they played, but Gabi's celebration is better because it says "can't see you", instead of just copying it

Why is the ramble siding with the employer. Let Salah get everything he can.

8:50 Jim intimating that he sincerely believes that the cut on Pep Guardiola’s nose is evidence of a mental health episode is one of the strangest claims I’ve heard in all my time listening to the Ramble.

Strange take. There's evidence of self harm which he jokingly alludes to. Seems normal to take it seriously. What's your explanation?
@paulb5401Ай бұрын
@@latergator915 I scratched my index finger on my car key last week, leaving a visible mark. If you saw this mark and happened to know that I had been having a difficult month at work, then genuinely thought that you had enough evidence to surmise that I must be self-harming, you would be a maniac. And Pep joking about it makes it less likely, rather than more likely, I reckon.

If you saw that mark, and happened to know that I had been having a stressful month at work, and therefore concluded that I must have done it deliberately as some kind of cry for help, you would have massively over-concluded based upon a very small amount of evidence. And Pep joking about it makes it less likely, rather than more likely, I reckon.

Wasn’t looking forward to this new CL format, but really enjoying it so far! Wish we’d have been able to play in it last year, instead of EUFA fudging us over with group of death and Paris 🖤🤍
@davidlean1060Ай бұрын
One big win and your club can shoot up the overall table and this fact has produced all the surprises. Looking at it tonight, there are clubs like Atalanta and Dortmund in the top 8, whereas big clubs like Man City, Real and PSG are sitting well below that. It's been fun seeing this play out for sure!
@solomonchilds8574Ай бұрын
I’d argue for the neutral (which is the majority of spectators for the UCL since your team ain’t part of it) the new format is worse. Fixtures are sprung on us and catch us off guard, whereas before you’d slowly learn the teams that were playing whom due to the repetition
@Sillygoooose624Ай бұрын
@@solomonchilds8574 How can we it be worse for neutral? CL got stale for 10+ years with same old sides strolling through group stage and into Quarters and Semis. Groups stages where formality for big sides smashing home and away ties - now 8 one of ties is cracking! This year has been good fun!
