This was by far the best episode. Chiellini was the last breed of old-school Italian defenders. He's intelligent, tough, but also charismatic and friendly off the pitch. He also has a degree in economics. Truly a gem and a role model for the younger generations.

Quite possible the best interview I've ever seen. His football knowledge is off the charts. Truly played for the sport and so did the ones before him and the ones before them. Not many Italians play outside of Italy and I feel there is a culture over there that you almost get alienated as an Italian if you go to play for some of the other European champions from other countries.

Always get an Italian on. They know football like few others and it's a real universal game in Italy where you get middle class and working class mids playing and you can see it in their teams where they get a true mix of the country. In England, Ireland, Scotland etc, middle class kids tend to play rugby or other sports.
